This is a short story that my Mom originally wrote to help me with an assignment. I re-wrote it!

On October 26, 2008 Clyth was created. I couldn't say he was born because he is only imaginary. Since that day he joins Lauren on the semi-exciting adventures known as The Untitled Comics. Several years later, Clyth forgets Lauren's birthday. She got so mad that she threw the nearest possible object at him. When she notices that Clyth doesn't get up, she walks nervously towards him. Filled with fear, Lauren thought she had killed her best friend! There was grape jelly every where; it must be Clyth's "blood". The neighbors call the cops because of the noise. Lauren says there is no real crime scene because there is no blood. (No human blood to be precise.) The police want to search the scene, but the judge agrees with Lauren. The police woman at court was secretly in love with Clyth ever since she pulled him over for speeding. She convinces Lauren to let her search the crime scene. She hates Lauren for killing Clyth! She destroys the crime scene looking for evidence. Then she finds it! The spoon used to kill Clyth! The police woman, Lauren, and a neighbor go to court the next day. Lauren refuses to answer every question asked. Since she didn't have the money to bail herself out, she was forced to stay in jail when court wasn't in session. She can't go home to change her clothes! The trial soon becomes very stinky. Lauren's attorney can't take the smell any longer. He makes a deal with Lauren. All she has to do is admit she's the murderer of an imaginary friend and serve one day in prison. The sentence would only be one day because Clyth is not human. Lauren refuses and screams "Never!" The judge was in a bad mood so he sentenced her to a year in jail. The judge looks forward to finally being rid of this stinky criminal. On the first day of her sentence, flowers appear in her face. They're from the police woman as a gift of apology. She realizes that she was unfair and immature. She never got to know Clyth anyway. The judge cries, he realizes he was unfair too. He must let Lauren go home! During the high point of all the commotion the doors to the court room burst open. Clyth floats there with a furious look on his face. He yells at Lauren: "I missed my date because I had to clean up the jelly you spilt! Now she broke up with me!" The police woman rips the flowers out of Lauren's stinky hands. She hands them to Clyth and declares her love for him. Clyth and that police woman dated ever since. As for Lauren…she just took a shower.
