Celebration
the 21st is Mar's celebration day.
If he had kept track of the days correctly, today would be the twenty-first. He hummed a little bit as he went about normal day things, a tune Ushi had taught him for this day, it was a special song.

He had missed this time last year, due to last year being so busy. But he didn’t mind. Celebrating had been something Ushi was fond of, and they loved birthdays, for they loved celebrating people.
Technically, this was the day for all his Nestmates as well. All the Winter Floran would have ‘celebrated today.

He checked up on the flowers. Working on many little projects, several were to be special flowers of thanks. Some coming along much better then he thought they would. The red Protectorate Flower was more or less perfected. And he picked a few. Apologizing to the flowers.

He stepped into the cargo-bay’s airlock, placing the flowers down close to the outer door. He had the ship drifting near a certain place, a place where he had woken up about two years ago.
He stepped out of the air lock, shutting the door tight behind him. He then stood on tiptoe to look through the window as he activated the outer door. The flowers fluttered as they were pulled to space. The red petals grew icy the moment they hit the lack of air.

He smiled, it was an odd smile. It fought between being happy and sorrowful. <”Thank you, Usshi.”>
