Awkward Apology

Oh it was February, Cider's least favorite month that is. Will they ever admit its their least favorite? No, they won’t. Today was a bit different though, as it was their first time participating in such. Giving chocolate wasn’t new to Cider of course, they did it back in middle school. This is the first time in years since they had done it however.

After they finally got home from spending multiple hours practicing, Cider instantly went to their kitchen to see what they had. It was hard, especially since they were making chocolate for someone they don’t know too well. Hopefully, it ended up with them seeing if they can somehow make spicy chocolate… Quite the experience they would say at least. It took them a good amount of time to finish the chocolate. It had to sit, so they decided to pick it up the next day.

The next day, everything was ready to go to be put into a nice box. A cute white heart-shaped box with a black and blue bow. The purpose of those colors was purely to keep track of who even is giving these chocolates, but alas, they were ready. Cider luckily didn’t need to go to the studio today, so they might as well make this delivery quick. They wrote a quick note, basically serving as an awkward apology.

Cider went on their way to Kaoru’s apartment, with Ruffian’s help, of course. They really had to explain to the horse why they needed to go there, but they managed to convince him it was nothing bad. Cider could have just mailed it to him, but where’s the fun in that? Once they arrived at the apartment building, they went to see if they could drop the box in Kaoru’s mailbox, so they had to find it out, which didn’t take long. Once they knew the box was safely in the mailbox, they went home.

It was now time to await Kaoru’s response, if he ever decides to send one that is. Awkward apology for awkward acquaintances.
