Lullaby

Thasvan slowly rolled out of his bed in the middle of the night, walking over to the cradle next to his bed..and sure enough- the fussing wasn't a hallucination...there he was, babbling a little bit- it was quiet and broken up, the tears were barely audible- but they were there. He was crying because he was lonely- because he wanted him. "Oh, you're doing so good.." Thasvan whispered as he gently scooped the baby up with both his hands, unable to help the little tears that trickled down his own face. "It's okay- just cry...you can cry- it's okay to cry-" He murmured, then his own voice broke a little when he found himself following his own advice and hugged the baby tightly to his chest. "...It's okay to cry..."
