”Can’t believe wedding’s actually happening! Right now!“ Plasma exclaimed, holding up their wedding necklace.

Clown looked over at it and smiled, “I can’t either!”

Plasma‘s ears pricked, “Sounds like ’lytes! ‘Lytes here!”

A small purple Pygmylyte wearing a black dress with a small veil walked up the path towards the Vitae. Shortly after, two bickering Astrolytes, a Pygmyling and Dracoling, followed. The Dracoling wearing a big black robe, with two big wings attached at the back.

“Must be Idyll and ‘er bunch, A’ries and Lutea!” Clown exclaimed, while Plasma and their torz, Party, not hearing any of this, started sprinting at them to greet them.

After waving at the excited bunch, Idyll walked up to Clown, “Good day, Clown! So sorry for being so late, we had to round up the rest of the Waywards, and we assumed Wayward Aries and Lutea would be… unamused with their traveling conditions.”

”No prob’em! You‘re the first ones here, acu’lly!” Clown and Idyll started some small talk, while the fourth guest arrived, a red-orange tank wearing a black leather jacket and red scarf, Rataplan, with a yellow and blue torz, Dogma, following next to her.

”Haha!! What’s up!? Am!-.. am I at the right party I’m not really sure.”

”You sure ar’!“ Exclaimed Clown, nodding at Idyll and walking over to Rataplan. Plasma and Party, hearing the new arrival, dashed over to her, Rataplan almost falling over to the sudden greeting. Party and Dogma yipped and meowed at each other furiously while Clown sauntered up.

”Well hello ther’! You must be Rataplan!”

”The one and only!“

Clown looked around, counting each ’lyte. ”Looks like e’ryone‘s her’!“

”That means we can start?? Starting now!?” Plasma exclaimed, attempting to grab Party by the shell and setting them next to the pool. The torz looked up and marveled at the giant flower above, dripping water down upon the giant pool below.

Clown snickered, ”Yep! C’mon in, we gotta dip our necklaces in the pool!”

Idyll walked over to her children and wordlessly quieted them and led them to the edge of the pool. Rataplan pushed Dogma over to the edge with their cloudy hand.

Clown gently brushed the moths away from their lamps and stepped inside, holding their bowtie-necklace carefully above the pool. Plasma dipped their wing-tip and winced at the lukewarm water. Clown looked over and stretched his wing out, slightly tapping Plasmas wing so they could grab on. Plasma wrapped both its wings around Clown's, hesitantly stepping one pointed foot in, then the other. Plasma adjusted their grip on Clown's wings, only wrapping one wing around Clown's. The worried expression faded as they stepped farther into the water. Clown let go of Plasma, who stumbled slightly before regaining its footing. They blindly looked up to where they thought Clown was and nodded, holding onto their necklace with both wings.

Clown looked down at the yellow ‘lyte and did the same. Jester, Clown's snake tail, popped out from his chest fluff to look down at the glimmering, gentle stream below. Clown giggled, and nudged Plasma's shoulder, signaling to dip the small flower into the water. He watched as Plasma found the top of the water with their wing, slowly dipping the necklace into it. Clown quickly dipped their bow in. Both flowers emitted a small glow, the marriage has been completed.

Idyll wiped a single tear from their eye, Aries and Lutea exchanged unamused yet proud glances, unable to hold back a smile. Rataplan shifted awkwardly as Dogma yipped out loudly.

Clown and Plasma stood up, their fancy attire soiled by the water they were kneeling in but they gave each other a big warm embrace. Clown helped Plasma attach its necklace before he put on the fancy bowtie himself as observing Astrolytes politely clapped for the two of them. Plasma was beaming and chirped sweetly at their new husband, which Clown responded with a nuzzle and a whistle themself. Clown remarked, "We oughta get married like this more of'en!"
