History and orbs of Dysphoria

Welcome to the planet Dysphoria, year 4890. The wold has turned into a wasteland and 6 artifical flying ecosystems in form of planets orbitate whats left of the earth.
You started inside of orb 01, this orb and several more were isolated from the rest, the reason is unknown. You can't exit nor enter without certain permission. Its an orb shaped capsule, somehow the external extreme heat at day or the extreme cold at nights don't affect the inside atmosphere .
Not everyone knows about this situation of the orbs, however if you find yourself next to the border you will see the wasteland under your feet. Not everyone is allowed to get close to the border.
In the center of the planet, the orbs keep working thanks to a device called " The serpent".
Ancient energy powers the device, letting the orbs keep their ecosystem intact. This capsule can be modified from central, also called serpent. Passage through orbs is regulated in central, it uses to take place in capsules made by the same magic.
Orbs are powered by gems, those gems hold inmense power and they can't be destructed easily.
They were created in the year 0 and many people seek them in search of power
Those gems are made from trapped entities inside the stone, mainly gods or dragons. However to liberate its power and return it to the planet to restore the lost lands you have to face the seals in ferocious combat.
