Chapter 3

If it was up to her, Becca would’ve slept until noon, however she couldn’t. If she slept until noon, it’d be too late. Grabbing her phone, she headed towards Vil’s room. Although Becca was dating the vice dorm leader, she still didn’t 100% know Rook’s type. Him and Vil were both third years, surely the actor would know more than she did.

Luckily for her, the dorm leader wasn’t too busy. Well, if you asked, Vil would consider doing his makeup to be busy work but he seemed to be free enough to humor the second year; albeit a bit confused why she was asking if he knew Rook’s type. As far as Vil knew, the two were happy together. So what even happened?

“..So why are you even asking about his type? I thought you’d know it.” Noticing Becca flinch a little, Vil apologized for sounding harsh, he was just confused as to what was happening. Seeing the confused look on Vil’s face, she pulled out her phone, silently turning on the message before handing the phone to the dorm leader.

As Vil listened to the recording, he didn’t know how to react. He would be mad at Rook but it wasn’t Rook in the recording. That much was obvious. The dorm leader had no idea how Becca would fall for it but he knew she cared a lot about what he thought of her. She even came to him multiple times before they started dating asking for advice similar to this.

“..You are aware this isn’t Rook’s voice?” The second year seemed both surprised, and in denial, about it and Vil didn’t know if he should be more confused or concerned. Although noticing the tears in her eyes, he grew slightly worried.

“..I-It has to be! The timing would make sense too! After all, he’s always with-”

“Becca, take a moment to breathe before you pass out” Trying to get herself to breathe properly was more of a struggle than she wanted to admit but eventually she succeeded. Cursing herself, she sighed. All she did was have a breakdown in front of the dorm leader, not figure out Rook’s type.

Apologizing to the dorm leader for wasting his time, Becca turned to leave the room as she planned on heading towards her usual spot on the dorm’s roof. Maybe there she’d have plenty of time to think. Hearing the sound of thunder outside, she grumbled and headed towards her room instead. Of all the times to thunder, why’d it have to be now.
