Misty evening

When mist settled up on Inazuma land, Nyx, wanted to spend the night under the stars.

She was going deeper into a forest near Mt. Yougou and sat under a large pine tree. The faun took out her ocarina and started playing melodies she learnt throughout her journeys. In less than some seconds after, Nyx  received a pine cone on her head, thrown by something higher inside the tree.

“Ouch!she exclaimed as she looked up inside the tree to see a tall male tengu resting on a branch.

-Shut up you and your pipe! I am trying to rest.”

Nyx got up and when she observed the tengu closely, she became really curious seeing his huge bird paws, his wings and his tail. Her big urge to touch his feathers got her, and her long tail starting to wag like a happy dog.

The tengu, after watching her getting excited for no apparent reasons and arched a brow. The faun started to climb up the pine tree at a disconcerting speed, and was now at the same level at the tengu and sat on a branch near him.

“Can I touch your tail?

-No.

-C’mon please and, you can even touch my tail if you want!!!

-No.

-Not even the feathers?

-Still no. Now get down the tree and find yourself another tree.

-Here we are under a communist regime so this is OUR TREE.

-What?

-ter”

Nyx started to laugh and looked at the puzzled tengu.

“Get it? What ter, water the liquid, hmm???”

The tengu was definitely disheartened by her low sense of humor.

She took out her ocarina again and played a happy melody, the male was ready to show his fangs and hit her, but he changed his mind when he listened to the melody closely until the end.

The faun looked at the tengu listening to her playing the instrument and stretched her hand.

“Nyx, she said with a large smile plastered on her face.”

The tengu looked at her, hesitating and suspicious. He finally decided to intertwine his hand on hers.

“Ukko”

The faun shook her arm linked to his, signified she was happy to meet him.

“You can stop holding my hand. Unless you need my hand to fall asleep, hmm? I’m not complaining though, it is very pleasant to the touch, she said laughing.”

The tengu instantly withdrew his hand, embarrassed and looked away, his brown frowned and his cheeks red.

“I will sleep here, it’s a pretty good place for real. I think that if I don’t find a place to sleep the rest of the week at the city, I’ll sleep in this tree.”

Nyx took out a small and thin cover from her bag and wrapped it on her body. She used her pyro power to warm up her body and take her long tail on her head to use it as a pillow.

The faun grabbed her ocarina again and played some music until she would fall asleep by herself. 

The tengu started to close his eyes, acclimatizing to the relaxing sound of the instrument.

When she woke up, the faun had her ass up in the air, and her head on the floor. She got up and noticed that the tengu was not here anymore. She left the forest, her tail wagging, happy to have met someone even if it costed her some bruises from her fall of pine tree.
