Welcome to Briarwood, a fantasy world filled with magic and ancient secrets -- a constant battleground between the tokotas who side with the spirits of light and those who align themselves with the spirits of darkness.

OVERVIEW

There were originally ten packs of tokotas living in and around Briarwood. Each pack had its assigned role to fulfill within the forest's ecostructure. The leaders of each of these packs formed a council that would govern over the entire forest. Political espionage and distrust between the packs eventually led to a complete breakdown of trust. War broke out, dividing the packs and destroying the land they'd worked so hard to build. Seizing the opportunity presented by the war, the dark spirits of Tokotna returned once more to walk among the mortals, ushering in an age of Darkness over the land.

After two generations of fighting, all that remained of Briarwood's once flourishing population were a few thousand tokotas. Most chose to continue roaming the land on their own, as the Kinsun -- "the packless ones" -- while others formed small roving bands of scavengers. But, out of the disorder and chaos, several fledgling packs rallied around their leaders. Now, the future of Briarwood lies in the choices these new packs will make...
