I spent some years in the human world living a double life; a normal and boring human on daylight, and a masked vigilante on nighttime. I lived a comfortable life, but I was aware such wasn’t true for many, many people who feared their government. So many people deceived, and so many unaware of how big of a mistake was to believe them.

So I gathered resistance by my own fists. I taught people my ideals, by directly acting against corruption itself. It was soon time for me to go back to Griffia, so I left my legacy behind.

I wanted these humans to learn to fight for their rights, for their own happiness.

They still had lots to learn, but I believe everything I needed to learn during my journey was already with me by now. I realized what my view on justice meant and how it led my life.

I learned to step front and speak up my mind and desires. I inspired so many people to fight for their happiness. I felt like what I had to contribute to the human world was done, much like my living on it contributed to my own growth.
It was time to go back to my original home.

I had no one waiting for me there, so I headed straight to Fabian’s place. It was a bit funny, being back in my real body; I got used to having longer legs and needing to use the bathroom sometimes.

Now that I was back after seeing the human world for myself, I could closely compare how different both worlds were from one another. We, griffians, seemed to live in a timeless pace. Time surely did pass for us, but there wasn’t any of that routine rush the adult humans went through all the time.
Our world was much more kind regarding differences, and we weren’t as oblivious to blatant liars as the humans are. I believe my newfound ideals wouldn’t be much needed back here, but I’ll carry them in my heart forever, that’s for sure.

After all, no matter how peaceful Griffia seems to be at a first glance, the universe needs balance; what means, where there’s good things, there’s also bad things.

I don’t exactly miss the human world, but I regard it with nostalgia. I think what I miss the most was my cozy apartment, and the life I led there. It’s time to start anew in Griffia, but maybe these memories can find its place. I wonder if I’m able of building a home just like that apartment. That would be so nice…!

Meeting up with Fabian, he wanted to know everything about how my journey was, so I, naturally, filled him in with the details. He seemed a bit surprised when I mentioned the several different types of beans there were in the human world, and how some were actually to be drunk instead of eaten. His surprise made me wonder, did no bagbean before me mention the human beans?
I had thought of him before hand, so I handed Fabian a little stash I had made as a gift: a box with at least ten partitions, and a little collection of a different kind of bean inside each. He seemed very thankful!
I also showed him the jelly ones, and went on a rant of how thanks to the jelly beans, I had discovered a kind of candy which were called gummy candies. These were the ones who became my absolute favorites!

I had brought lots of packets of different gummy candies with me, so we shared some, while I explained how the beans I gifted him worked: they had to be boiled in hot water, but some were to be drunk as I mentioned before, take coffee for an example.
We spent the whole afternoon talking about the human beans, they were very different from ours indeed… not magical, but tasty at least. And if you treat them properly, they can grow cute little plants, too; I told Fabian I saw some small kids planting beans once.

After a long while filled with a hearty conversation, I excused myself so I could head to the capital for once. The wizard swiftly made me a parcel with some potions and goodies and gave me them as thanks for everything. I thanked him, and was headed outside, when I remembered.

“Oh, before I go, let me ask: am I able of going back eventually to get more candies?”
