D-16 Zombie

Sitting in the corner, Ranvier was eying the rising dead from his position in his master's shadow. A virus of sorts himself, he could relate to the premise of the game, something infecting the pixelated humans that were now popping out of the ground. Grotesque in appearance, they shambled towards the player's character, groaning and creaking. Designed more towards causing that heart racing feeling, he didn't particularly understand it himself.

At least the player was enjoying themselves, Sato getting wrapped up in the scenario as they yelled at the screen where the two sprites were watching together. Unknowing of the audience, he considered them simply a program he had forgotten was downloaded. Some random keystrokes or accidental board face planting in a fit of frustration they tended to have during the saltier games. The second retry was going far better than the first, the demon making sure to light fire to the bodies before they even had a chance to rise. Setting traps to fall back on, and explosives to start things off with a bang, it was necessary to cull as many numbers as possible or else he'd be overwhelmed once again.

<Left> a small speech bubble popped up from the corner. The tiny sprite of a villain trying to offer their assistance since there was no screen edge for those on the inside. To them, it was like sitting on Sato's shoulder, able to keep watch on the blind spots and spawns that only rose when they were looking away. Listening to the pair, the controller swung around to see a faster zombie pulling itself up to charge. Dodging out of the way in the nick of time, Sato sighed in relief. There wasn't time to celebrate however, soon on to the next group without questioning his little sprite's coincidental directions.
