‘How does your character think of their parents? What do they hate and love about them? What influence - literal or imagined - did they have?

Very little of them! Despite (or maybe even because) they’re an incredibly doting pair Elias pays them little heed outside of the bare minimum he needs to retain their support. He doesn’t feel any affection towards them though, but it’s not a result of his parents treating him unkindly. He likes the fact that he has access to their money and influential backgrounds, he even inherited his mothers swordsmanship style and fathers business relations, but he doesn’t actually respect either as people.

Siblings? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their siblings? What type of discipline was your character subjected to at home? Strict? Lenient?

Only. Child. After all he was everything his parents could ever hope and dream about in a kid (minus the hidden antisocial tendencies and lack of sympathy for anyone other than himself) so why bother having another when he was pretty much the perfect heir. Punishments hardly ever occurred and if they did they were very lenient, if Elias perhaps got a little too carried away during a sparring match some hush money, or perhaps even threats, could keep other people's mouths shut. Elias’ parents were far too lenient and always assured him he was never at fault, so he’s used to getting away with things scott free.

Were they overprotected as a child? Sheltered? m I would say he was overprotected but maybe it was more a service to other people if Elias was kept far away from them. Sheltered but not unaware of the ills humanity is capable of, fascinated by them really.

Did they feel rejection or affection as a child?

So much affection it was suffocating, at this point Elias isn’t quite sure what cartoonish act of evil he would have to pull off in order to get his parents to reject him. It’s part of why he’s rather excited to venture off on his own into the wider world, he finds the idea of having actual repercussions to his actions kind of thrilling!

What was the economic status of their family?

How does your character feel about religion?

Believes god exists and he is their favorite.

|s your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?

Book AND street smart! Excels in academics by virtue of talent and access to private tutors and educational facilities throughout his life, he’s incredibly well read. Also rather good at reading people and manipulating them, despite looking like an easy target he doesn’t fall prey to deception like one would think. He’s absolutely lost if you ask him about pop-culture though, his taste in media like music or tv is actually super niche and borderline pretentious.

‘What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like about it? Dislike?

Technically speaking Elias is unemployed, he mooches off his parents exorbitant wealth, but he does assist in running his fathers business and arranging trade agreements. He doesn’t really want to inherit the family business though and is making plans to run off with some of the family fortune so he can go live a more exciting life, perhaps as a wandering mercenary. He’ll only be persuaded to stay if he thinks he can cause more chaos at home as a nobleman rather than wandering the galaxy. He loves nothing more than causing conflict but also wants to be an active participant in it, while he gets a kick out of it he’d probably lose his mind if he got completely sidelined if large scale fights broke out.

‘Who are their friends? Lovers? Type’ or ‘ideal’ partner? What do they want from a partner? What do they think and feel of sex?

Hilarious. Elias is peak edgy anime villain in that he doesn’t really believe in making friends or genuine connections, people are either tools to use, toys to play with until they break, or bugs to crush underfoot. That’s how he sees it at least, in reality Elias just doesn’t get how to bond with other people, he would sabotage anything that came close to a genuine relationship because he wouldn’t know how to deal with it, and he’d still derive pleasure from it all the same. Maybe a part of him is jealous of everyone for knowing love, or maybe that’s a sob story he’s telling you to garner sympathy so you’ll drop your guard. Your call.

As for sex Elias doesn’t have much of a libido at all, but he can and will have sex wiith someone if there’s something to gain from it. He also probably gets a bit too excited by fighting.

How easy or difficult is it for your character to say“I love you" Can they say it without meaning it?

It’s as easy as breathing, and the words have even less weight to them than air.

What is your character's weaknesses? Hubris? Pride? Controlling?

Maybe a little hasty when it comes to revealing his true nature or intentions, usually it’s not too big of a deal because if Elias fights somebody they end up a stain on his blade within the hour. However this is obviously detrimental to him trying to pull any long-cons. He’s also not at all used to losing or not getting his way, so that will have him lose his composure really quickly. Also, once again, may or may not know how to handle genuine feelings.

‘Are they holding on to something in the past? Can he or she forgive?

Elias doesn’t hold grudges because he’s never been slighted by anyone in a way that genuinely mattered to him. When you think you can kill someone and get away with it it’s hard to hate them, after all, do you really truly hate the flies you swat the way you would a person? Elias can forgive but only because he doesn’t usually get offended in the first place, but if you do piss him off retribution will probably be swift and unforgiving.

How does your character react to stress situations? Defensively? Aggressively? Evasively?

Excitedly. I did say he was looking forward to finding out his actions have consequences yeah? He does try to keep his cool most of the time and if he needs to keep up a front he’ll evade questions while trying to appease whoevers pressing him.

Do they drink? Take drugs? What about their health?

Has done probably everything at least once, but doesn’t regularly abuse any substance because he can’t fight if he’s not in good health, also prefers to be in complete control of himself. Generally takes very good care of himself, healthy meals and 8+ hours of sleep a day. 20 step skin+hair care routine.

Do they like to suffer? Like to see other people suffering?

Yes and double yes. Lives to hurt people and is totally willing to be hurt. I’mma keep it real with you chief Elias baseline state is being a little freak who gets off on pain and suffering be it his own or others.

‘What does your character want most? What do they need really badly, compulsively? What are they willing to do, to sacrifice, to obtain?

Thrill, consequences, he wants to feel like what he does matters and thus the hyper high stakes of life-or-death scenarios gives him the rush he needs to feel like a real person. He’ll sacrifice his life and others as I’m sure is clear by now.

|s your character tall? Short? What about size? Weight? Posture? How do they feel about their physical body?

Stupidly tall, even moreso with the heels, with perfect posture and is all lean muscle. Elias preens and takes a lot of care to make himself presentable and is proud of his appearance.

Has your character ever fired a gun? If so, what was their first target?

Fired guns at practice ranges, and to nobody's surprise of course he’s a good marksman. As for living targets he’s gone hunting in forests for woodland beasts and the slums, full of people who won’t be missed, was a good hunting ground for the first person he ever decided to shoot. He doesn’t remember their face, or their name, just their dying wheezes and the realization he much preferred stabbing to shooting.

|s your character's current socioeconomic status different than it was when they were growing up?

Not really, even though if he runs away from home he’ll have significantly less cash but it’ll still be enough to be set for life. Several lives really. In What ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation, or self-criticism?

Self validation not that it really works, being a wellspring of natural talent and constantly praised by any and all authority figures means at some point it doesn’t even come off as satisfying when you leave your peers in the dust.

How does your character normally deal with confrontation

Equal parts violent and gleeful. At best confrontation ends with mangled feelings, at worst, a closed casket funeral.
