Until the Dawn - minievent

Armen was killing time by drawing random scribbles to the dirt with his claw. His company wasn't the most talkative one and he was kind of bored. Or uncomfortable, better said. He wasn't used to staying idle lately as he was on the run from all the canines he managed to anger. Who would have thought the village cared about the idiots?

He observed the strange white canine and didn't bother much to hide it. It wasn't like he was straight up staring. When they took him away from the city, Armen expected an explanation why it wasn't safe to enter, but guess they liked to play mysterious.

There was probably some strict night city roaming restriction. Armen would most likely discover it by himself in the morning so he didn't ask. The white dog wasn't much into conversation and Armen felt like there was some word limit he could get from them.

Armen forced himself to relax a little. He observed the dancing fire. The cracking of wood filled an otherwise quiet place. The warmth of the fire was pleasant; memories took him back to the village for a moment. He used to sit with villagers around a campfire, watching stars. He had his happy moments there. Thinking of it, they might have not mind his hellhound appearance so much as Armen thought back then. It was just hard to notice it when the group of idiots had the loudest voices and Armen wasn't able to hear anything else past them.

Armen noticed the canine kept occasionally peering at the city. He started to wonder more about it as it seemed to make the stranger anxious. Armen must have admitted there was a certain atmosphere surrounding the place. He didn't have a chance to enter, but it was like it was luring him in and at the same time pushing him away.

It sounded little silly if he had to say it out loud. Or whatever the word was.

,,So…,” he started to catch the dog's attention first, ,,when night falls, do I have to leave the city or can I stay in one of the buildings?” It was a wise question as he was supposed to visit the place in the morning. And maybe he was able indirectly get from the dog explanation why it isn't safe at night. The place couldn't be that much dangerous if someone lived here, right? Or someone was holding the residents there and not letting them leave.

He had thought before this was some kind of a trap. You had to admit the situation was little suspicious. Armen was waiting for something to happen, for someone to come to get him. He before explained the dog's peering at the city as impatience to get rid of him. But nothing was happening so he slowly let go of the idea.
