Journal

I have recently obtained a journal again, I felt it beneficial to record my thoughts about the worlds I visit and travel trough. Maybe one day I will want to reminisce on my journey or Asmodeus shows interest in reading about my journey. Or perhaps I die and some traveler finds my journal. If such is the case, I request you put it back with the rest of my supplies before I come back from the dead and reclaim it by force!

My travel companions and I have come back from the past on this day. We desperately tried to stop a vampire genocide and a dangerous drug from developing in Tarnubia. Neither of us have any idea if we happened to change anything outside of Tarnubia, which we hope to figure out soon.

Today I visited Arion, an Elven noble who discovered travel trough mirrors. It is quite a groundbreaking discovery for people who are unable to leave their origin world but still wish to explore. Fortunately I am able to travel in a more distinguished way, trough the giant portals that are littered throughout the worlds.

I showed interest in Arion's experiment, wishing to see how it works and how non-chosen people would travel trough it. He demonstrated the seeking process of the mirrors, although I'm uncertain if I understand entirely how the enchanted mirrors find their opposite link if there are no mirrors present. It was seeking for a while before it showed a pitch-black world. We assumed it was because of Phoebe's presence, as Arion explained the mirrors react to any guardian present, apparently even children of guardians. We showed interest in this unfamiliar world, wanting to explore it, and see what it would have to offer. Although because the world got connected because of Phoebe's presence, I feared she would want to stay there, take up the mantle of Guardian like her father.

We explored the world, which was little more than a very dark hedge maze. We had taken the origin mirror in this maze with us, not wanting to find our way back trough that cursed foliage.

After we had returned we went to seek out Ziya, who goes by the name Ami'ad now, but Ziya is easier to remember. Apparently the world he was camping in was the old stag world, before it's guardian was on the brink of death. It was quite strange to see this world as green as it appeared now, compared to the gloomy white snow I am used to. Although before I departed I requested a hand mirror from Arion, just so we can communicate and I can escape the realm, in the event of an emergency. It's embarrassing how he assumed me to be able to use my mist form, I'm an ancient vampire and yet I can only use half of my potential!

Either way, Ami'ad suggested I seek out one of his friends, someone in the owl world who lives away from the rest of the world. He handed me a map that supposedly helps me with finding his residence. A tower in the middle of the woods won't be too hard to find, I'm certain of it! I will see if I can send one of Asmodeus' children to scout ahead, see if this tower even exists and I'm not being sent on a wild goose chase.Apparently this man is supposed to be able to help me with my necromancy... Or was it my vampire complexion? I can't quite remember.
