DAY 00: We Flew Too Close To The Sun
It all happened far more quickly than anyone could have ever anticipated. A once bustling city reduced to a shadow of its former self in mere moments. It was only minutes before that a research lab seemed to have imploded in on itself, taking down much of the city. This however, was not where the true danger would lay. The true danger would have been the heavy miasma that was released into the sky afterwards. The thick purple fogs soon settled into the eerily silent city, weaving itself through every nook and cranny the now dilapidated city had to offer.
Within the mists, where living breathing people once walked, talked, and slept there were only lifeless mounds of flesh which seemed to bubble and ooze. A feverish heat radiated from them while they spasmed, as if attempting to become as they once were. A far cry from their former selves.
Those who hadn't been horridly scarred by the miasmas may have been considered the lucky ones, and it is here where Orca's tale begins. Once human, Orca awakens hours after the blast to find that her body is no longer quite her own.
