Despite being a Life Kemuchii, a being created to be a follower of Ania, Liriann didn't feel a deep connection to her deity. She saw the beauty in the offerings made to Ania, but also felt uneasy about the sacrifices being made in her name. On the occasion she did bring a sacrifice, she would usually opt for jewellery or gems she had found locally. One day, whilst Liriann was taking her morning walk through the nearby woods she stumbled upon a small, stillborn fawn. The tiny creature had never taken its first breath, and Liriann felt a deep sadness wash over her as she looked upon its fragile body. It was too late for her to use her abilities to breathe life back into it… She knew what she had to do. Liriann carefully picked up the fawn's body and brought it to an altar of Ania. Liriann felt conflicted as she laid the fawn down as a sacrifice. It wasn't her usual choice of offering as she didn't want to contribute to Ania's bloody reputation, but Liriannalso felt a sense of duty as a follower. As she whispered a prayer to Ania, she couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness and mourning for the lost life of the fawn. As she walked away from the altar, she couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness and unease. But, despite these reservations, Liriann knew that her sacrifice would’ve pleased Ania.
