Errol and his trainer, Therru, had been seeking out the Huaka’i Eeveelutions one by one. Already they had encountered many— Jolteon and Umbreon being notable encounters. As for now, The Huaka’i Sylveon had finally calmed down.

The two had heard rumors of Huaka’i Glaceon and Leafeon living in arboreal forests somewhat close to the current town they were staying in. And so they decided to trek up the mountainous trails to visit and see if they could indeed encounter the mysterious Ice and Grass type Pokemon.

Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on their side, as the two had went to the nearby town— there seemed to be massive downpours of rain in the area. Local Water type Pokemon were quite happy, but the little Patterned Eevee and his Trainer were quite water-logged! They worried their chance to encounter the Ice and Grass type Eeveelutions would be cut short due to such inclement weather. Yet, they did have to wait it out all the same. And they waited, certainly, for a week at least. The weather did finally clear however.

The two set out with the help of some of Therru’s other Pokemon, and were able to safely work through the winding arboreal forest trails.

Therru and Errol spent a few days camping near the summit- hoping to spot just a glimpse, perhaps even meeting, the elusive Huaka’i Eeveelutions. This seemed a harder task then they thought however, as even after spending 4 days there— no Glaceon or Leafeon were spotted.

A bit sad, Therru started to pack up the camp on Day 5. As Errol was trying to help though, he noticed a bit of movement at the edges of the camp. A golden ear was perking up from behind a shrub. Sneaking up on it, Errol happened to encounter a young Huaka’i Leafeon! Just evolved, it seemed. The wild Pokemon was surprised and a bit stunned, but Errol had called Therru over. Carefully, Therru offered the wild Leafeon some berries.

Nervous, the wild Huaka’i Leafeon hesitantly came over. This gave Errol some time to interact with the wild Pokemon as well. Therru took out her notebook, and wrote down some observations of Errol and the Leafeon spending some time together. It seemed at the least, the two were able to encounter one of the mysterious Eeveelutions!
