Tatsuai Species Sheet

BASIC INFO:
Tatsuai are a closed species who live on the planet of Tekishozen!
The elusive and mysterious draconic species of Tekishozen, Tatsuai were considered a legend for a good chunk of the planet's history. Recently they've started spreading out, being spotted occasionally settling down in the cities.
They make up one of the smallest percents of the population, filling about 5% of the total population of the planet.
They originate from the Atsushin region, where their capital settlement still remains.

BIOLOGY:
Tatsuai have a greatly varied range of body types, from slender and lithe to muscular and thick, depending often on where they've settled down and what their daily job is.

Having a deep connection to various gemstones and minerals, the horns, scales and tails of the Tatsuai are made of living mineral, often sporting shiny finishes and deep, vibrant colors. Tufts of fur grow from various points on the Tatsuai's bodies, and their horns can grow to incredibly large sizes.

ROLE ON TEKISHOZEN:
Originating in the forests of Atsushin, Tatsuai kept to themselves for many hundreds of years. Their current leader, Lord Itsuki Kaguro, encouraged his people to spread out and explore the rest of the world they live in. Ever since then, they've been slowly appearing in other places, towns, and even the cities.

Due to their long lifespans, Tatsuai are often considered very wise and mysterious, even if that isn't always accurate. It isn't uncommon for non-Tatsuai citizens of Tekishozen to approach them at random and ask for advice. The Tatsuai possess a deep connection to the earth, and are able to transmutate minerals into different types of minerals - though this process often leaves them a bit tired.
