Tekishozen Species Sheets

BASIC INFO:
Chikainu are a closed species who live on the planet of Tekishozen!
They're dogfolk, who posses unheard of strength, endurance, and loyalty!
They make up a smaller percent of the population, Kitzenkoshi at 50%, Bakenomu at 20%, Chikainu at 20%, and others to come filling the small 10%!
They are mostly known to be in towns that harbor temples or royals who have elected Chikainu to guard them. However they have been known to pop up here and there and live non-guard related lives!

BIOLOGY:
Chikainu are larger compared to the other two established species, and are much more fit and tall. They build muscle easy, however they've been seen to have a variety of body types!
They have round pupils and Dog like teeth (Often times also having large saber like fangs or tusks).

Chikainu have Dog like ears and tails, However often their tails are just huge fluffy billowing fur. They also have large sturdy paw feet and hands, some have pawpads and some do not, however they all have some serious claws. They are known to have fluffy rings of fur around their neck, however if the Chikainu has short fur all around, they are likely to not have a very fluffy neck ring!

ROLE ON TEKISHOZEN:
Chikainu are long living loyal protectors. It's ingrained in their very being to protect and guide things important to them. Most Chikainu take up positions guarding sacred temples in the harshest of environments. Their hardy nature enables them to withstand any condition, stay attentive for days on end, and fight off any enemy. In populated areas they're usually hired by nobles as guards due to their loyal and loving nature.

Chikainu aren't the sort to be used to living in very modernized areas, so they are typically wearing very little clothing, and are usually adorned with large heavy accessories! This is both because they enjoy it, and to show their sheer strength and size. Making them even more imposing! HOWEVER, they have been seen in city regions wearing normal clothing and blending in with the rest of society!

In the world of Tekishozen Chikainu are mostly known by those who frequent temples, and are EXTREMELY respected! It's common when you visit temples to bring gifts for the Chikainu who guard them, sit down, and have a chat with them over a small meal or something like it! Those who don't know of them are likely city goers and are quite young, however in recent years Chikainu have been more and more known to be taking to city life!
