A ruckus at Spinal Hall (Pokemon Tsuba)
"Arkham! Use Discharge and Sienna- Bubble Beam!" Carmen shouted over the mystical music playing through the stadium. The two Pokemon knew exactly how to execute her plan. Sienna blows bubbles up over the crowd while Arkham directs the electrical outburst towards them which results in a beautiful, dazzling display raining down on the crowd. Cheers and applause erupted as the judges held up their scores on the collaborative move and display of union with Carmen's chosen duo. "That's not all!" She gets to center stage and starts an eloquate dance with her partner Pokemon. Sienna jumps atop Arkham's head before he bows infront of his trainer. As Carmen finishes off her dance, she ends with a flirtacious pose of winking, puckering out her lips, and holding up one hand in a peace sign. Sienna users Water Gun to form a heart shape as Arkham again hones in a Discharge to the water making it a mesh of electricity and water- Carmen's signature on stage. With Sienna's Volt Asborb ability it makes this combo have so many possibilties.
Shatter. Fwoosh. Bap!
Sienna topples over as something knocked her down. The stadium gasped alongside Carmen. Flitter. Flitter. Sqwuack! "A Pokemon??" Carmen looked dumbfounded. A very agitated bird Pokemon had broken through the glassed roof of the stadium and started attacking her Pokemon. They flinched, not wanting to fight, and Carmen didn't know what to do. She ripped the fabric off the hem of her perfomance outfit to shoo it away with, which only agitated it further. Pink wings, brown body, and a cream colored head and tail- she's never seen a Chatot like it before and boy was it making a first impression. The judges and crowd all watched with worry and intrigue at the sudden guest appearance. Some other contestants started peering from the back to see what stopped the show since surely the next person should've been brought in. I guess we'll have to fight it, Carmen figured. Before she even had to speak, Arkham knew what was up and stood infront of the bird. Their bond was immeasurable, quite literally growing up together, you'd think they could read eachother's minds. Sienna ran to stand in front of the crowd in case it decided to go after those people. Putting up a fist, with a look of determination, Carmen barked "Thunder Punch, Arkham!" The bird barely evaded and squawked in anger, surprising both trainer and mon with it's attempt at using Sleep Powder. Arkham held its breath before shaking off the powder and shooting off a Discharge its way. The Chatot fought it back with a very aggressive Boomburst causing the eletricity to visually seem to freeze in mid-air before dissipating. Oohs and aahs came from the crowd, to which it seemed like the bird Pokemon smirked and puffed up its chest proudly. Carmen noticed and began to wonder if it knew what it was doing, maybe it wants to particapte in contests?
She had Arkham hurl out a Shadow Ball just to block its view, chased with a Blaze Kick. The Shadow Ball started moving around erractically, almost like a bird, causing Arkham to miss its attack and look back in confusion before landing as the ball of shadow disappeared to reveal the Chatot who had captured the ball inside of a Protect to hide itself since the ghost move has no effect on it. Applause and whistles of delight filled the air, seemingly the music was playing again as if this was a normal act in the contest. Carmen and Arkham exchanged looks before she whistled Sienna over. Her two mons stood facing the bird. Sienna started towards it with Aqua Jet as Arkham directed its Discharge move to combine with it. Sienna bolted towards the bird as it countered with a Boomburst. Being pushed back by the move, Sienna didn't let go of the jet, instead expanding the water around it into an even bigger jet blocking the bird's view of its partner. Carmen scrambled to get out a Pokeball, fittingly enough a Love Ball which was perfect for the pretty bird. She darted her eyes to meet Arkham's, and then in the blink of an eye he ran and jumped up with a powerful Blaze Kick. catching the bird off guard he got a hit in which punted the bird into the Aqua Jet of Sienna. She grabbed ahold of the fiesty Chatot and carefully came back down with a splash.
Carmen tossed the ball at the Chatot, capturing it and its wide-eyed expression. Silence filled the air.

"YES" Carmen jumped for joy before running to her Pokemon to give them a hug. Cameras flashed, understandably so since this was a first ever for this small region's Contest Hall. The crowd was ecstatic, mainly the kids since it was manys first time seeing a battle and a Pokemon caught live. Carmen called the Chatot out of its ball, giving it a name on the spot, Kalena. She looked up at the trainer and then to the other two Pokemon and realized they were bowing. A look of excitement dawned her face as she chirped and joined the bow. This bird just wanted to be part of a contest, she admired the mons who took part in them and was finally part of one. Who knew breaking and entering could lead to good things happening?
The excitement settled as the judges dismissed her, thanked her and introduced the next guest. Crisis averted, the show must go on... after the broken glass was cleaned up. Regardless, there was no stopping the contest after that spectacle, too much hype and buzz around it now- what's a little broken glass to get in the way?
