The sun was shining. The birds were chirping, and the grunts and thuds of a man lifting and flipping a massive log were heard in the cool spring morning.

Wrench was taking advantage of the nice cool weather to get some extra training in. He was determined to win the caber toss at least once this summer at one of the many highland events he planned to attend in the summer.

His partner Brick, simply stood to the side and watched, two mugs of rich and dark coffee in his hands, taking sips from both as he watched the log flip end over end before ruining his once beautiful grass.

As upset as he was about the state of his lawn, Brick knew Wrench would make look as like he hadn’t been pelting the ground with a log. Afterall, he had already replaced several windows in the past weeks from throwing hammers, what was some extra lawn work? The Scotsman never turned down tending to the lawn when Brick gave him the opportunity.

So he watched the nearly naked boisbeni in his lawn. The man was saved from staring at wrench's bare ass cheeks only by the tartan worn proudly around his waist. It was far too early in the morning and Brick was far too uncaffeinated to care about his oogling and staring at Wrench’s sweat glistened chest and arms as he continued to launch the wood log into the air.

Wrench knew his partner was watching. But he just wanted to keep flipping his log, there was no time to get distracted.

So Wrench kept flipping his log. He flipped his log for so long in fact that Brick had had an opportunity to go inside, make two more cups of coffee, drink them, go back inside to dress himself for the day and watch far too many cat videos to be considered healthy before Wrench stopped and made his way inside to shower.

But that was spring for them. A time of launching logs in the air, or watching the man launching them.
