As night became day and the stars returned to their overnight hiding places, Samaar continued to hold his gaze on the sky. The dark blues and purples slowly melted into pinks and oranges while the sun climbed over the horizon. It was like a tasty sorbet, a wonderful taste to the eyes. The lunaris wished to fly up and watch as the colors changed across the land while the great wheel in the sky rose ever higher and higher, yet that would result in abandoning the warmth under various different blankets and scrap fabrics he'd been granted by a few kind painted satyrs and browbirds.
Samaar had long abandoned the sea, along with the one who he'd once been claimed by... but whatever was to come was a problem for the future. For now, he could eat, sleep, and do whatever it was any normal creature was supposed to do with their days. With this one in specific? Samaar yawned and rolled back over; another hour of sleep would do no harm at all.
The great dragon’s chest slowly rose and fell while the light from the sun softly glittered upon his scales. As they retained heat and slowly warmed up, the creature happily dozed off once more into slumber until he’d be woken for his daily tasks.
