Voltaire is a dream character of mine that lives in a place he refuses to name. he refers to people he meets as "my child", as he's the embodiment of hopes, dreams, and thoughts.

Author's Notes

this is a collection of quotes from the dream he first appeared in, where we were standing on top of a red building in a place I frequent in dreams, called the Underworld. It's black and red, and it's where the flirtatious mafia shadow people live- as well as my dream best friend h'vgnxali - or H for short.

Volume One- The Underworld

I asked him who he was, and why he was there talking to me, and he replied "i am truth and justice for the vain, my child"

This is where my dream self started to inquire upon his occupation. First, i asked him why he had so many lumps and he replied "oh, my child, that's where all your hopes and dreams are kept- along with the world's hunger for mere attention, and frivolous ideas of utopia"

this, i'm assuming meant he was the EMBODIMENT of hopes and dreams- considering the fact that " the world's hunger for mere attention" seems to relate to insecurities, and "frivolous ideas of utopia" seems to show the fact that people try to escape reality by going into their dreamlands.

some other various quotes I don't exactly remember the place of from this dream:

Fighting demonic form of himself to save me from "mutiny" -->

"HEALTH IS FOR THE TRULY CONSIDERATE, BROTHER! THEY ARE ALL ILL AND EXPLAINABLY SO!"

"Oh, you just want to bite me, brother- come on, bite me! physical forms only momentarily suffer, as my soul is stronger than any flesh ever conjured by the maker's feeble hands!"

"Is banishment really your ideal status? you're being quite merciless, my brother dear"
