Year -2,097
Ashenvale
- Faralane Eldershade is born in Ashenvale, Northern Kalimdor, to Sister Lysirea Eldershade and Dranon Farstar.
~ Year -1,900
Moonglade
- Faralane begins his training as a druid in Moonglade. He joins his older brother, Lydraenas, who has already begun his training.
~ Year -1,000
Moonglade
- Faralane experiences what he would later consider a divine vision from Elune. He shortly thereafter quits the path of druidism.
- During this time, Faralane does little to find his own way in life. He becomes restless and dissatisfied with life.
Year -975
Kalimdor
- War of the Shifting Sands begins in Southern Kalimdor. Many brave Kaldorei would go to fight.
- Faralane’s father, Dranon, leaves home and does not return. Some assume that he passed away in the War of the Shifting Sands, although this is not the case.
~ Year -700
Ashenvale / Northern Kalimdor
- Faralane moves back to his birthplace of Ashenvale to train as a tailor’s apprentice.
- He spends several centuries travelling between Ashenvale, Mount Hyjal and Darkshore, to selling his wares - often including robes for the sisterhood.
~ Year -350
Moonglade
- Faralane returns to Moonglade to live with his family. He makes his living as a tailor and poet, spending much of his time studying ancient poetry.
Year 21
Hyjal / Moonglade
- The Battle of Mount Hyjal occurs. Faralane remains in the sanctuary of Moonglade with his family.
Year 28
Ashenvale / Moonglade
- The Great Cataclysm leaves Faralane’s homeland of Ashenvale in ruins, after the eruption of Thunder Peak. Faralane stays in Moonglade, during the Shattering.
Year 33-34
Teldrassil
- The Fourth War begins with the Burning of Teldrassil. Faralane's cousin, Aeleaith, is believed to have perished in the burning.
- Helandrieth and Ryl'thaelar, Faralane's aunt and uncle, are killed during the War of Thorns.
Year 35
Moonglade
- In the wake of Teldrassil's destruction, Faralane joins the Sisterhood of Elune. He renames himself ‘Faralane Moonshadow’ and begins his training. At this time, he also received his markings.
- After being named a neophyte priest, Faralane chooses his mount - a blind nightsaber who he named Brighteyes.
Year 39
Azeroth
- Faralane returns to Ashenvale to continue his training with the sisterhood. He meets Tessaemay for the first time and they travel to find the Dirge of Teldrassil. Upon meeting Yier Shatterstring in Desolace, Faralane officially joins her unit.
- Faralane travels across Azeroth with the Dirge of Teldrassil, offering his service to them as a healer. In this time, he trains under the watch of Sister Arialla Starheart.
Year 40
Azeroth
- Following heartbreak in Gilneas, Faralane travels home to Ashenvale. Upon his return, he reunites with Tessaemay and the pair begin courting soon afterwards.
- Faralane returns to the Dirge to continue his service with them. He travels Azeroth with the unit, taking part in different campaigns. He is promoted to the rank of militant.
