Hell's jail
A fairly old birthday gift I got from a nice person over at the Terraria Community Forums.
There was a vicious prison in the pits of the underworld
No one knows it's name.
Although it's now a ruin since a riot unfurled
But the prisoners weren't to blame.
But rumors say
That an intruder came.
A certain group was captured
But they went into rages
Telling them that their boss would give them pain
Never experienced in all the ages.
If they weren't set free
But the guards cackled with glee
Disregarding the tales
As crooked sales
But they weren't having any
Suddenly the lights went out
And their confidence dropped a penny
Where it once had two
Now there was one
But when the guards started vanishing
The pennies in total were none.
And then the coin bag vanished completely
When what they thought of as a lark.
Turned into a horror show
About a monster in the dark.
With snarling maws and bone-shredding claws.
And everyone kept trying to keep their cool.
Convinced that they were the tricks of a fool
And then again the lights went out
And then snapped on once more
Everyone was gone without a shout.
And then the head gaoler stepped in
Into these holding pens of apparent sin.
Pulled out a switch
And opened the doors as if scratching an itch
"You're free to go." The gaoler said.
"No choice now that everyone is dead."
As the prisoners swarmed out, they noticed some skin.
Hanging on top of the way in
They flashed a few smirks, for then they knew the gaoler
Was actually their boss Carula .
