Side Quest 6 - Upgrade

It had started off as a typical day. She slept in a little bit, but not so much that it badly disrupted her morning routine. She headed off to school, picking up her cousin, Keeva, along the way. Upon arriving at her first class of the day, however, she found that she'd forgotten about a test she was supposed to have that day and, naturally, had forgotten to study for. She left the class when the bell rang, feeling like a total idiot.

Sadly, her day didn't improve much from there. For some reason, she couldn't concentrate in any of her classes and was late for her third one. That particular teacher wasn't known to be forgiving of such things, so she'd been given some extra questions to do as homework.

Keeva had other things to do after school, so Badb walked home alone, grumbling to herself only to be confronted by a youma.

She looked at it for a time. Part of her really wished it would just go away while another part of her just...snapped. All the frustration and anger of her day flooded out and into her broach.

Raven noticed immediately that something was different about herself once she was done transforming. She felt heavier, for one thing. She didn't really have time to figure out what was going on as the youma attacked her right away. Onyxraven let herself be as angry as she wanted to be and unleashed it on her enemy. Once that was dealt with, she took stock of the changes she was feeling.

"Huh..." she said, flapping the wings experimentally. "This is..kind of awesome."
