Story Quest 10 - Licking Your Wounds
Your battle with the Card youma was much tougher than you thought. Weary and hurt, you return to the Caverns only to be met by Moonstone Kirin and her twin brother, a nurse, who offers to help you with your injuries. Draw and write up a scene where he and your girl interact during this meeting. Big chunks of this text are from the official story journal.
After her encounter with the weird card youma, Badb debated on what to do next. The damage done to her fuku had affected her regular clothes. She grimaced, examining herself. it would be hard to explain the rips in her clothes and the blood soaked into the fabric.
Mom is going to freak. Can't go home, can;t go to the hospital. I'm still a minor, so they'll call my parents. She leaned her back against the wall, eyes closed. I can't just do nothing about it. My leg is killing me!
Her eyes opened. If anyone will understand what happened to me, it'll be the other animamates. She turned her head at the sound of approaching sirens. Yup, time to go, she thought, shifting back into her fuku and teleporting to the Crystal Caverns.
The tingling of the transportation fades as Raven made her way down the long corridor to the main Hall, hoping her fellow senshi were ok. As Raven neared the expansive room, she heard voices. One she distinctly recognize as belonging to Saige, better known as Moonstone Kirin, but the other, was unfamiliar to her. Male, but neither belonging to Jun or Bryce.
Thank goodness. I don't think I could handle Jun right now.
Entering the room, she spotted Moonstone Kirin in her senshi form, talking with a very tall lanky man with hair that matched her own, dressed in what appears to be a nurse's uniform. Before she could take another step, they both looked over at her, their eyes, matching in colour, going wide.
"Oh my gosh, honey, are you okay?!" Moonstone Kirin moves immediately towards you, reaching a delicate hand out, "C'mon, let's go get you looked at and tended to and you can tell us all about what happened with the Youma."
Her calming touch eased Raven's mind some as she looked from her to the 6'6" young man awaiting the two of you.
"Galen," Moonstone Kirin addresses him before you can ask any questions, "Is the med-bay ready?"
"Of course," the man gestures for you two to follow him. "Right this way."
The man, Galen, led her to one of the stairways between two of the massive statues and up a flight of stairs, emerging into a waiting room of sorts. Cozy couches and chairs and short tables piled with various magazines line the room and through the windows of a set of double doors she saw several beds and a multitude of medical equipment flashing and beeping, just waiting to be put to use. Galen and Kirin led her through the doors and guided her to a bed to rest on while the man turned his attention to her.
"I'm sorry this is how we are introduced, but my name is Galen Bennet, Saige is my twin sister," He smiled warmly at you, "I'm a registered nurse, and if you don't mind, I would like tend to your wounds. I promise I'll be gentle."
His smile and easygoing, yet professional demeanor, much like Moonstone Kirin's touch, helped calm her mind as he prepared to take care of Raven's injuries before letting her go rest.
