"Grappling hook, check. Rope, check. Torch, check. Lastly, rations... where are the- oh there they are! Gotta make sure I got my snacks," canned fruit with a few trail mix nuts and dried fruits were tucked into a small bag almost the same color and shades as the jingling peach collar that she wore around her neck. With a gentle gruff on putting on her backpack, Peach started on her steps down into the deep dark of the Chasm. She was prepared for the best and the worst at the same time. Peach equipped herself with her hood and covered her head partly to be able to keep her focus as she made her way in.

The first thirty or so minutes were easy, avoiding holes and perhaps soft ground trying her best not to create more problems for herself especially if she was moving across a small space. Tiptoeing her way into the curve of a small road around the rocky walls.

"Don't look down... don't look down!" she whispered loudly to make sure the echo of her voice didn't disturb the walls, using her paws to dig through the available crevices of the rock wall and for a mere moment her foot slipped succumbing her into the hole below. Luckily, with her quick reflexes, she managed to activate the grappling hook towards the wall above where she fell. With a proper yank, her body weight was held by the thick wire from the grappling hook only to realize that she was just a foot or so from the ground. "Phew... that was way too close," her entire existence wanting to escape from her throat. Carefully, she unhooked the grappling hook once she jumped down to the ground below. It was dark, really dark, and luckily Peach had just the perfect thing to deal with this situation. Digging as best as she could with the environmental light, she brought out the torch and the flint to light up the wrapping around the head of the torch. She set it down on the ground and started to smack the flint and steel against each other. Small sparks here and there and eventually, FWOOSH. The torch lit up with a fire that slowly began to overtake it. Peach took this time to wrap up the flint and steel and shove it back in the bag.

The grappling hook was once again wrapped around her waist just to be safe once more.

"Ok, I think I can see an opening ahead," she whispered once more as she stared into a circle that led down into some possible light that she was seeing perhaps.

Peach started to move once more this time trying to be as quiet as possible since she had heard that there was a not-so-friendly Woolwool down in these tunnels and she was worried it would attack her out of nowhere. Still, she headed forward down the small tunnel that she encountered, after all, it was the only entrance that Peach could go through. The torch lit up the entire tunnel while traversing through its narrow path carefully and trying her best not to slip downward. Peach began to notice pinkish lights at the end of the path and small like broken crystals on the ground.

"Oh? This might be the room!" She was excited but still kept her calm, making sure no mistakes happened. When she finally reached the end of the tunnel, Peach picked up the few lying crystals on the ground pocketing them into her backpack to take a look at them later.

When she stepped through she noticed that there were larger forms of crystals attached to the walls of the cavern. It was bright and she no longer needed her torch... that's what she thought until she heard a small sound ahead of her.

There in the distance was a Woolwool probably the one that she had heard about and behind it laid a chest, perhaps filled with great rewards if she managed to get to it.

And so without a doubt in her mind, she took her stance dropping her bag to the side and using the torch to break some of the crystals. Sharp and ready to be used as weapons against the Woolwool.

"Come at me! I will take that prize for myself, you little scoundrel!"
