The door fell down after a swift kick. Outside, stood a female figure with short hair wearing a short-sleeved sweatshirt and a male with a scarf and a short braid.

"Lem? Orange?" the female's voice called out. "You guys in here?"

She stepped a bit closer to a mysterious light, revealing pink hair and a green headband. It was Grapefruit.

Her eyes widened as she took in the scene before her.

There were at least a dozen Cookies all lying on the ground with red laser-like lights swirling around their bodies but mainly their heads. Grapefruit immediately spotted her friends.

"Lem!"  She rushed over to the body of a blonde Cookie on the ground. "What's happening?!"

Lemon, with his eyes closed, didn't respond.

Grapefruit turned around to see a bunch more Cookies that she recognized.

"Oh, Gods... Orange, DJ, Lime... and even Brave?"

On the ground lay sixteen Cookies in total: Gingerbrave, Gingerbright, Lemon, Orange, Lime, DJ, Pink Choco, Carrot, Beet, Herb, Sparkling, Hero, Mint Choco, Gumball, Cotton Candy, and Kiwi.

"What... the hell is going on?"

Another Cookie stepped up beside Grapefruit. He had jet black hair with a small braid on the side, wore a striped sweater and had a scarf. His ruby red eyes narrowed as he saw the Cookies.

"I recognize this magic," he said. "It's her doing."

"Black, what are we gonna do?" Grapefruit cried. She tried to pick up Lemon, but the red magic just shocked her and she was forced to pull back.

"I have an idea," the other suggested. "This magic messes with the minds of the victim. Usually, they're transported to a world inside their minds and can be broken out if they realize it. If I can manage to break them out of it, then they'll be saved."

"Can you do that?" Grapefruit nervously looked at him.

"Definitely. I can't break the spell from out here, but I can from inside their mind. I want you to go get help. This probably won't take too long."

"On it!"

Grapefruit charged away at lightning speed.

The male bent down in front of Lemon, who was the closest. He opened his palms and started extracting the power from the red magic. Soon enough, a ball of ruby red formed on his palms.

"I won't let you hurt these innocents," he muttered under his breath. Then, he placed his palms to his forehead as streaks of red began appearing around his head.

He lay down on the floor and let the darkness claim him.
