a place to keep my rambles on discord for me to refer to later aka completely forget about mostly unformatted but im making this public cuz idk theres world lore here
the universe babey
hey its ramble time so why not explain how the universe works
which doesnt include ultra space cuz thats its own universe and its own mess
the main plane is where like .. all the story takes place , its essentially gameverse pokemon world, its cool. most pokemon who die turn into a ghost pokemon , while human's souls are transferred to the upper spirit world
unles the pokemon/human dies suddenly has a big thing thats left unresolved, in which case a 'ghost' version of them is stuck until they resolve themselves or their soul is passed on manually (an example would be orchid, who's soul was stuck at the sinnoh league garden) 'ghost version' pokemon cant be caught unlike ghost types its confusing
hall of origin, arceus lives there, they chill. below that is the upper spirit world, where the souls of departed humans go. i kinda imagined it as a bunch of islands floating in a vaguely cloudy void, kinda like the pkmn dreamworld from gen5?
the spirit world is where things get funky, if a primary ghost-type pkmn (no secondary ghosts like decedueye) is strong enough it can move into the spirit world. ghosts chill there. human souls can also get stuck in the spirit world for whatever reason in which case they gotta get out fast or they become corrupted
spirits inside the spirit world can move into either planes temporarily, or can move permanently until they want to go back if theyre strong enough
distortion world is less of hell and more the plane making got fucked up and it doesnt make sense . but also it kinda is hell except the standards to get there are really bad. youre basically stuck in giratina's baby jail forever
the pmd/pure pokemon world is essentially the pokemon world from pmd games, its only pokemon except unlike the main plane where pokemon intelligence widely varies, all pokemon in the pmd plane have around the same level of intellegence i.e. human level
again strong ghost types can move into the spirit world from here
also legends get free access to all planes except the distortion world which is reserved for giratina only and the hall of origin in which only the Cool Kids are allowed
so if a legend isn't active in the main plane it's probably hiding in the pmd world from human drama
