Taiga looked up at the sky.

How do you even manipulate air? What use is this?

It felt so weak sometimes. It was an angel and couldn't fly? What kind of angel is that? Sometimes it resented its wings. They always lead to so many expectations.

This felt like just another expectation. Another label that people could use to judge it.

Why did it have to be sky?

Whatever.

It had to practice, so might as well get it over with. But where to begin... the sky was featureless. Except... there! A cloud! Something to focus its efforts on.

It stared at the cloud. Started walking towards it, but it seemed just as far away. Pointed at it, reached out towards it. Flapped its wings.

How am I supposed to do this?

Well, I should probably decide what I want it to do. I think ... well. Hm. I don't want it to rain on me. What if I make it into a word? No, that seems too complicated. How about a shape?

Taiga looked at the cloud. It just looked cloud shaped.

Taiga looked harder. Is looking harder a thing? I mean, this is hard, and I am looking at it...

Finally, it decided to make it a circle. Or a square. Whichever ended up being easiest.

Which turned out to be neither. The cloud just sat there.

Taiga closed its eyes, visualizing the cloud turning into a swirly thin line. It opened its eyes. Nothing.

Okay, fine. Maybe changing its shape is a bit overambitious. I'll just make it move!

Taiga looked at the cloud again. "You realllly want to move. You want to move so bad. Just scootch over. Just a little bit." At this point, it wouldn't have minded if a bit of wind came and the cloud just "happened" to move at the same time - that counts, right? But no wind came at all.

Finally, Taiga resorted to shouting at it. "You're a cloud, right? Move! Do something! Move!"

Whatever.

...

Wait.

...

Clouds are made out of water.
