the different peoples of the world

-man is seen as a gender-neutral term in The World, i chose mankind instead of humans bc it sounds more dramatic to me

-most diverse in terms of temperament/etc

-generally able to adapt to different habitats more easily due to usually being neutral instead of elemental

-elemental humans are extremely rare but do happen, they are usually associated with the gods

-gods and demigods tend to use "mankind" to refer to all mortal races, it is less common for mortals to use this terminology in this way

-seen as the most common race bc they all tend to look the same due to being same species while there tend to be huge differences in appearance between dragons and also sentient beast and monster cover hundreds of different species

-use magic in more ways (cast with hands, use books or scrolls, use chanting, use enchanted items, cast with mind, cast with wands/staves/etc) than other races do, due to not having built in defenses like sharp claws, sharp teeth, etc; other races see this as silly

-use a wider range of tools than other races, same reason as why they use magic in more ways
