Serafin is a very reserved and quiet person. She is very soft-spoken and prefers to be alone most of the time, pondering things in the woods, or by a brook, or even on a cliff. She is very intuitive and also very kind. She finds that the best things in life usually do not involve loud sounds or bright lights. She believes some of the most beautiful things are right under our noses.
Even though only being 15, Serafin has this air of authority and responsibility around her. She seems very stately, despite her leggings that are seemingly torn. Although seemingly cold to people at first, once you get to know her, you realize she is very responsible, yet always having some time for humor.

Serafin was always curious about the outside world from all the books she read about it. Her curiosity grew and grew until she couldn't hold it back any longer. She just had to ask her mother to go see the world. Sadly, her mother said no.
Serafin did not know it at the time, but the world which she lives in was a very harsh and cruel place. It was led by some of the evilest people on the planet. This world was very unforgiving and the people in it were all poor and couldn't afford anything, therefore stealing and killing to keep themselves and their families alive.
Serafin's mother knew this all to well as she had grown up in that desolate wasteland of a world. She didn't want to expose her dear Serafin to the evils of the world and wanted her to only know happiness.
However, Serafin didn't agree and later on that day, she snuck out of the house running as far out of the forest as she could. She came across a city in the middle of nowhere. As she looks throughout the city, she sees a child around the same age as her slip around the corner and runs down the alley. She sneaks around after him looking at where he is going and sees him bend over to two heaps on the ground. As she gets closer, she realizes those heaps aren't things, but are people, laying there, looking deathly ill. She stares in horror as she wonders if all people are like this and wondering if this is why her mother didn't.
She starts to back away, but then the boy sees her. The boy looks at her and pleads for her to help him. He looks just about as sick as the parents and when she saw him, she couldn't help but feel terrible. Every day she would secretly come back to this boy and give him the food she found in the forest. Eventually, the boy came to trust her and told her his name was Dennis.
One day, when she came to see Dennis again because his parents had died and she was worried about him, he was gone. She looked throughout all the alleys but never could find him. She went back home tearful and ran to hug her mom. When her mom had asked what happened and even though she had told her all that had happened, her mom showed her nothing but kindness and love.
Serafin after this, still being curious about the world decided to go out and help all the people she can while she is alive. So she goes with her mom to start learning magic so she can help them.
That is how she started on her way to become one of the most renowned forest witches ever.

They became friends, often teleporting to each other's kingdom frequently, most likely messing on the space-time continuum in the process. |
