The story starts in the continent of Cyrodiil with a lone Argonian named Baliska. She came from Blackmarsh, her homeland. She was born in Limoth, one of the eight major cities in Blackmarsh. She was trained by her parents as a hunter all of her early years, however this is not what she sought out in her lifetime. The day she left was to seek a higher purpose in Cyrodiil, though she never would have known her destiny was full of adventure, horror, peril and pain.

Her story truly starts when she left Blackmarsh, only a day had passed since she crossed the border only wearing leather pants and a shirt with a rusted shortsword on her side, a travel pack of food and the small amount of coin she had earned from the sales from her last few hunts. That's when a small group bandits attacked her unaware she was skilled enough to defend herself, and with her basic knowledge of fighting she took them all out one-by-one. As they lie dead she took their belongings that would have been of any use. While she looted the corpses a small party of Imperial soldiers passed by, mistaking the scene as a blood-thirsty act of murder. They would refuse to hear the truth, due to her being just another an unimportant Argonian from Blackmarsh. The party of soldiers arrested her, and took her back to the Imperial City for trial.

After some time in the jail, and under the watch of the Imperials that held her prisoner, an issue broke out and the Emperor had explained that she had a big role in the future of the city, maybe all of Tamriel, she must be the saviour of Cyrodilil. She didn't know how to take this but followed the Emperor and his body guards through the dungeons looking for the secret escape route out, as for the Emperor was being hunted down by cultists. Closing in to the end of the line, they were ambushed and Baliska wasn't quick enough to react to one of the cultist who slaughtered the Emperor in cold-blood. She had to make her way out through the sewers. With help from one of the guards he let her through so he could deal with the Emperors body. Her new life had began. She tracked the steps of the cultists deciding she should look into the situation and if what the Emperor said was true, she'd best follow her fate. Her leads, led her to a young priest named Martin who she found out was the Emperor's heir, but he was to be protected at all costs, cause only the family blood was able to stop the crisis which turned out to be more than she expected. Oblivion gates had been opening throughout the entirety of Tamriel. Martin was escorted to a place in the mountains, North, West of the city Bruma. She had to bring him to Cloud Ruler Temple, the location of a group of warriors called the Blades, they were to protect him all-while she took down the Oblivion gates, and located the cultists plans. After tough travels and many close encounters with death she and Martin with the help of the Blades manages to take down the Cultists and interrupt their plans.

In the end she had become champion of Cyrodiil which was something she'd have never guessed she'd achieve in her life. A few years passed, her fame was diminishing despite her achievements, coin was getting low and she decided to try a new route in life. One day she went off and murdered her first victim, she didn't want to prey on an innocent so she hunted down someone with a bad path in life. She did this after hearing about the Dark Brotherhood and that being the only way to be approached by their speaker and join was to kill, in which was true. Soon enough the a speaker by the name of Lucien Lachance contacted her, he had heard about her victim and was impressed by her skills. After being accepted into the guild she started to delve into magic, necromancy to be precise, she was close to Lucien Lachance and had fallen for him, little did he know of this emotion she held onto, she kept it very much on the down-low for most of the time she knew him.

Dark times soon lingered over her when Lucien was murdered also soon after she had confessed her feelings for the Imperial, and the rest of the brotherhood and her family was killed after being fooled by someone who betrayed them. She went into a rage and made it her goal to hunt down the killers. After she located them and slaughtered the people who betrayed the Dark brotherhood she become broken, she was lost and alone.

Now with no where to go she took to her travels, took a nomadic life, hunting for treasures and exploring dungeons. One delve she contacted the Vamphric disease unwillingly,  Noxiphilic Sanguivoria specifically, this made it difficult as she was in a predicament of wanting not to live at this stage. She pushed through and managed to understand that living was worth it, she needed to get through all the hardships being tossed her way and climb to become stronger. She took time with a group of vampires for a few years and learned how to control the infliction, eventually she left the nest and went on her way coming out a stronger and new individual.

Back on the road she began to hear whispers of a strange island that had emerged located outside the Imperial City and soon enough she found it, excited by the strange portal she entered despite the many warning and to her surprise she ended up in the Shivering Isles, she spent a whole year there helping the Mad God and it is where she found her beloved sword Duskfang & Dawnfang, The place changed her for the better, she had learned new magic, honed her skills and battle and in the end became a brilliant team leader.

After leaving the Shivering Isles she travelled across Tamriel to Skyrim, more specifically Solitude to see some of the sights and hopefully take on some work. She wandered into a tavern called The Winking Skeever one night and met another Argonian, this Argonian was strange in appearance, very pale, icy scales, with eyes that appeared soul shriven, almost like the lizard had walked right out of Coldharbour. She was intrigued and the two talked, seeing how both were alone in the world and endeavoured much pain, they began travelling together. The other Argonian was a souless, cursed individual named Hiskera. Eventually the two decided that they needed to set up a place to call home as their interest required a safe place to keep research. Their travels took them to the coastal cliff sides of Hews Bane. They found a nice cavern opening up into a roofless grotto. They built a shack out of wood and a constructed some shelves for the books at hand they possessed, and for many more they'd add over the years. An enchanting table and a alchemy station was a need as well, and soon enough they had a cozy place to come back to.

Over the years new faces joined them, the place grew. Including Baliska and Hiskera, many members had called the grotto their home. Some as lonely and broken as the Argonian woman but others just wanted to join the merry band for work. In the end no matter the reason each and every new face was family. They are a bunch of inseparable mercenaries and look out for each other, as they are family.
