SO AHAHA A little note on nicknames: Claudia calls Nero jackass as a nickname as it was the first thing she said about him when they first met. Nero, upon learning somewhere that Claudia's name means 'Lame' has gone ahead and retaliated with all forms of pun and iteration of the word to get back at her dumb nickname for him.
"Try to make this one last at least." Nico rolls her eyes as the silver haired hunter muttered something under his breath. Whatever it was, Nico opted to ignore it in rather than let it get to her. From the corner of her glasses, she spots Claudia curiously making her way towards the hunter and finally decides to let her deal with Nero's ass.
It still blows her mind how he got her to say yes.
"Well? Get the hell out there and get me something interesting!"
"Right, right. See if I get you anything with that attitude." The artisan simply flips him off, passing by the sniper as she mutters insults in rapidfire speed. Claudia coughed at some of the more intense ones, mostly to cover up her bubbling laughter. Pink eyes looked at Nero's steel blue ones as she raises her eyebrow in amused inquiry.
"So, whatever did you do to be called a, 'one-handed dumbfuck', this time?"
"Oh the usual, I bring goodies and she kicks me out without a reward." He replies dismally waving off Nico's usual attitude when dealing with him.
"But what about the arms she makes for you?"
"Really? Do you honestly think I don't pay for them?" Breaking their stare off, the sniper couldn't help but finally laugh at the ridiculous banter. Her smooth voice calms down Nero, the airy laughter is like music to his ears.
"So, what do you need to continue hunting down demons, jackass?"
"How about a Lame kiss?"
She stops and stares at his bold declaration, blush forming and lips drawing into a thin line. Pink eyes dodge blue ones as she weakly comes up with a respond.
"A-Ah... O-Okay..." Building up courage, she strides forward and gives the hunter's lips a quick peck before hurrying on to meet up with Tasha. She doesn't know how she'll be able to look at Nero in the eye after this.
And if she briefly hears that jackass splutter and laugh, she doesn't mind. His voice does make her heart skip a beat so it wasn't all bad.
'Dismal!' Nero hears a quick assessment in his head but honestly who gives a fuck!? Lame-dia just kissed him and he's about ready to destroy even Urizen at this point!
"Come on, baby!" He screams with much glee, sword slashing down at the poor unsuspecting demons. Maybe he'll double down and grab twice as many demon parts for Nico this round.
