The beach property on the interior of town that went along the river represented the efforts of many religious confessions that came from the old world. From Wayists of Mended Hand to Eternal Vigilists to grand architects and beyond, the large nearly six thousand foot abode had a dedicated healing area, a main acheron that represented a meditating, ritual and meeting hall that could fit hundreds, maybe even thousands some day. The main edifice sat upon raised clay while the rest was pressed with pristine white sand that seemed to flow directly into the water. On a clear day it rippled softly against the small rocks that dotted the river bed along piece of coast that it sat on. Many robed figures could be seen meandering about, coming and going during the day. Fires at night. The stone work stood starkly against rest of the town that was fashioned more as a medieval village and less a place of worship, meant to draw the weary and sick.

The one unique feature, even contrasted against the old empire worship versus what had transpired in the new land was a type of mother goddess worship, at least in the art and avatar representation of the temple. All of the religious representations were women, and not classically chiseled, but representing the ideas of the faith in motion and purpose as the new people came back to this land. Aetius decided to begin with something old, and something new. The other visual details were also ideas of other clerics, other confessions that leaders like fern would fill in during the building process as they weathered their first great challenges in this land.

Aetius could be seen talking to clerics as they passed by, with his hood drawn but without armor, he seemed more priest than warrior at the moment, smiling as women from another order admired his temporary, new pet, a toad of some renown that would be sought after quite soon, the warscarred healer assumed. He chuckled to himself lightly as the ladies passed. "I think his name is elliot" women seemed amused as they kept on walking.

Wooferdill

Dimxe Eldrinn, feeling a little bit small against the grandeur of the temple, fingered her necklace as she approached. Jerico had pointed her to the 'Healing House', as she'd heard it called. She admired the statues as she walked, admiring the beautiful structure. Finally, having drunk her fill of the architecture, she turned instead to look at the people. She noticed some passing students, but thought better of interrupting their work. Then her eyes fell upon a hooded man in conversation — "does he have a toad?"

Immediately, eyes sparkling at the idea of a new animal friend, Dimxe made a beeline for the hooded toad-holder. "Excuse me, sir, um... I have a few questions? First of all, I think I have a curse, and um, second, may I pet your friend?"

A rather tall woman walks up from behind, muttering to herself, dressed in her own robes of teal and black. She pauses as she comes up to the Healing House and smiles, as this is her first time seeing it in its entirety. She carefully makes her way around the students, and stares rather flatly at Aetius“Why did you take Benjamin? Also, what did you need my help with?”

She then takes notice of Dimxe. "Oh. Hello."

OneBadDay

Aetius sighed a little as he looked at the toad. "I had to resort to theft to get her out of the cabin. The lengths I go to, I swear." He amused himself a little as he realized he was talking to a toad. "What about bob?" The toad seemed confused and then went back to staring at the water. "Ah my friend, that vastness is too big for you. " He was abruptly startled as he saw a tiny blue person approaching. He stopped himself before attempting to speak again. "I'm assuming you're not supposed to be blue."

"Why do you think you're cursed?" Aetius had a surprising lack of experience with curses, but he was always willing to learn as he saw Fern approaching, His smile brightened, "Whose Benjamin? No Benjamin's here." he seemed inordinately happy even with the strange case presented to him. "Before I answer that, have you turned other things blue since you became...er..blue?" He spoke to blue lady right after addressing Fern who seemed at best, annoyed with him, which meant they were off to a great start.

Wooferdill

Dimxe turned to the new arrival, a smile brightening her face as she watched the toad theft discussion. Sensing a break, she piped up, "Hello, ma'am! I'm Dimxe Eldrinn! It's nice to meet you!" Turning to face both, she explained, "I'm, um, a wild magic sorcerer. Sometimes my magic... does things. And um, I worked with my teacher, Miss Bethany, and my other teacher Abaddon, and they both think it's... a curse?"

cereal

Fern continues to glare at Aetius, but does turn to smile briefly at Dimxe. "Pleasure to meet you, I'm Fern. How did your magic turn you blue, exactly? Does that just...happen?" She glares at Aetius one last time, one that says 'this conversation isn't over'

OneBadDay

Aetius greeted both women while standing up and coming to Fern, gently setting the toad in her hand before giving her a look that said sorry, but I missed not having to find you in the middle of a battle or surrounded by undead or possibly being chased by a dragon that was one thing, then another thing. Or irrefutably most annoying hags he had ever come across. "I am Aetius, A cleric of Mended Hand, Wayists of it. " He paused smiling down at Fern knowing she hated being the short one but at least she wasn't the shortest here. "I think my friend and I can help you with your problem, tiny blue lady. What did you look like originally?" He gently brushed Fern in apology figuring she would find some way to get him back later but he had witnesses for the time being, so he felt relatively safe.

cereal

Fern accepts Benjamin and places him on her shoulder again, moving her hair out of the way to do so. She sticks her tongue out in a surprisingly childish response, before once again turning her attention to the much, much shorter woman in front of them.

Wooferdill

Dimxe watched as the clerics bantered, warming to the friendly aura. "I usually don't turn blue. Um... My magic doesn't exactly listen to me very well all the time. Sometimes, it just does whatever it wants... It feels a little like a knot in your stomach when it's happening, so I know something happened, but not always what. This time it was just a little more obvious." She turned towards Aetius and continued, "I would really like some help. I'm, um, normally tan? Kind of like..." Turning, she surveyed the crowd. "Kind of like them?" She pointed at a person a few feet away. "I'm, uh, a human... so I don't mind too much, but I'd like to be a normal human-color again..."

OneBadDay

Aetius acted as if he didn't see the tongue but playfully poked at Fern's ribs' before giving the blue lady his undivided attention. "Not to overly pry but what are you exactly, are you human?" Aetius couldn't quite tell in her blue state what she was exactly. He didn't like to make judgments lest he be wrong, and out-loud and in front of Fern. Last thing he needed was to end up holding her satchel again, like the last battle. "So a relatively normal coloring, humanoid? Does your magic respond to null fields, being canceled? I'm assuming something happened for it to react this way and wasn't completely random. "

Aetius would also confer with Fern via thought, Aetius had borrowed an item from a patron of the healing house. She would hear his thoughts in words and images. "Do you have any experience with curses?" Aetius probably hoped he would startle fern.

cereal

Fern jumps slightly and raises an eyebrow. The look on her face seems to wonder if this is a two way mental conversation, before she says anything.

OneBadDay

((There is))

cereal

((nice))

Fern responds in the same mental fashion as Aetius did. ‘’Some. Most of the ones we had while I was with the rest of the Vigilists were of the ‘feels-like-my-skin-is-melting-off’ or ‘can-see-ghosts-and-spirits-everywhere’ variety. Nothing as vaguely tame as blue skin.”

Wooferdill

She nodded. "Human, yes. Um, and a quarter halfling, on my dad's side?" In response to his next question, Dimxe thought for a second, then spoke up. "I'm not sure what happened to it this time, specifically. If my experiences are anything to go off, then... it's totally random? It can happen whenever I cast a spell. I think. Probably." She glanced at Fern. "Abaddon tried to counterspell it... but that didn't really do anything. And Miss Bethany tried to Identify me, but it only showed that it was magic."

OneBadDay

Aetius was caught chuckling under his breath from Fern's reaction but also the fact that someone tried to identify a person as if they were an item. He coughed the rest of it away going back to a more otherworldly physician manner. "So, you had a one handed man try to cast magic on you and the other tried to treat it as if you were a wand. " Aetius scratched his head for a moment. "Did anyone try to dispel the magic upon you?"

cereal

She pauses. “Only slightly related, but for my own curiosity: this Miss Bethany wouldn’t happen to be married to Garret, would she? Because she would be the one to try that method of it from what I’ve been told…”

OneBadDay

Aetius quietly looked over to Fern watching her face to see if she was making weird faces while trying to talk silently. He was also making faces where Dimxe couldn't see. "Those sound like interesting curses. I am at a loss why wild magic would simply make her blue. I'm curious if this was just a joke gone wrong and nobody owned up to it." he spoke mentally with Fern

Wooferdill

Dimxe scrunched her nose. "Um, not as such..." She looked at Fern, delighted. "Yes! Miss Bethany is Garret's wife, and every now and then she'll work with me on my magic! She's really nice!" She realized that she'd interrupted herself and continued her earlier explanation. "We mostly ran through all the spells we could think of. (I didn't really have anything to help with it. I, um, only know spells that are... that um, blow stuff up.) And I don't think it was a joke. The only people with me when it happened were, um..." The girl muttered a list of names to herself. "I think only Himo and maybe Wren could do any magic, but I know Himo didn't do it because he would've said something theatric beforehand, and Wren's too nice."

cereal

The corner of Fern’s mouth does twitch upward a bit when she responds to him. “It was rarely that interesting. We had maybe seven curses come through while I was a cleric there. As for why wild magic would do this, well. Blue skin reeks of chaos to be fair.”

OneBadDay

Aetius paused while waiting for the rest of Dimxe's explanation. The tall, fair but scarred healer was quietly listening to the story. "It still doesn't make sense but perhaps that will always remain a mystery. I think we should try dispelling the magic first, and we can look through a book or two, I have some ideas but perhaps Fern has others. "What do you think, perhaps a hex of some kind?" Aetius clearly longed for the interesting cases but those were few and far between, he hadn't even got his first Resurrection yet. "So Dimxe, you do not perform any kind of profane magics then?" It had to be asked just in case she was trying to hide real reason she was blue.

Aetius thought out-loud, mentally, "If her condition worsens, she might need specialized help since our resources tend to be limited beyond what we can do natively as clerics, or conduits of our various gods, don't you think?" Aetius head motioned towards the blueberry girl standing in front of them, towards fern.

cereal

Fern seems lost in thought for a moment or two. “A hex may be a possible cause, though it would be hard to say for certain. Yes, should it worsen, it would likely be incredibly difficult for us to do anything without more specialized help. Which would not be an easy task.”

Wooferdill

Dimxe looked faintly offended at the mention of 'profane magics'. "I don't... do any necromancy or anything, if that's what you're asking. I guess I mostly know spells with fire."

cereal

"Good, that means I don't have to do anything unpleasant."

OneBadDay

Aetius understood the reaction but stones left unturned, caused blue ladies down the road. "I understand and whatever is discussed here will remain private, but I have found the things that often cause the most problems are the ones never spoken. " Aetius raised an eye-brow at Fern." I forgot short-bells over here hated necromancers. Grave Clerics, they do like things tidy." He amused himself, a little. "So perhaps we can go to acheron and do some cleansing and get down to seeing if we can fix your condition, how does that sound?"

cereal

Fern once again glares at Aetius and crosses her arms. “Short bells? Really?”

Wooferdill

Dimxe looked at Fern with fresh understanding. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend! That makes sense. My, um, grandfather was a Knowledge cleric with a big library. I can understand... wanting some order." At the suggestion of 'cleansing and fixing,' she sagged, looking a little more relieved than she'd expected to feel. "I'd like that very much! I, um, a few people have been bothering me to... come see a cleric, but I thought... I wanted to fix it on my own."

OneBadDay

Aetius spoke mind to mind with Fern, "Care to help? I could probably use it." He just let her roll with the annoyance and the fact he was poking at her height which had to be rare for her since she was incredibly tall for a woman, a human woman anyway.

cereal

Fern visibly rolls her eyes before responding mentally. "I suppose I can help. More eyes and all that." She looks at Dimxe. "I merely wish for the dead to remain so unless the soul is given leave by the gods to return. Hence why I live by a graveyard. As for attempting to fix it on your own, that's understandable." She smiles again. "Luckily, I think Aetius has been itching to do something more interesting, and I'm slowly going stir crazy in my home, so I don't think either of us mind."

Wooferdill

At receiving the knowledge that she wasn't actually troubling anyone over this, Dimxe looked grateful. She waits for instruction on where to go next.

OneBadDay

Aetius motioned for Dimxe to follow before abruptly taking Fern's hand and speaking mind to mind, "I want you to close your eyes, I have a surprise for you. " Since she hadn't been to the temple since it was in mid-construction, "The Eternal Vigilists helped a great deal compared to some of the other confessions, and leaders here so bare with me, but I have a surprise for Fern." Aetius spoke out-loud for Dimxe's benefit, his wavering professionalism came in spurts as they went through a beautiful vaulted archway that would rival most white marble in old world.

cereal

Fern, slightly confused, closes her eyes. "If you run me into something, you're going to find several unpleasant surprises in this place..."

OneBadDay

As they went through two rooms, one was filled with closed mausoleum's for the future clerics that would pass in this land, the others had moving waters and plants so stark in beauty that it would seem almost as a contrast that one would not believe, it might have been meant for therapy, to give splendor to those hurting at their time of most need, a place for serenity.

As Aetius led the way, an opening would mirror the ideas and passages of the Eternal Vigil, an entire wing of the garden was built with their ethereal ethos in mind. "Okay, open them." He gently led Fern to what would look like an impressive resting area for in-turning and taking care of those that passed as well training area for future clerics of her order. It would be made in colors that Fern now wore, meaning the stone that had been crafted to 'create' this wing was also incredibly rare. It also had beds for traveling clerics if they needed to rest between moving to outlying areas in the future.

Wooferdill

Dimxe followed, intrigued. She gasped quietly at the architecture and ducked her head into the rooms as they passed, skipping back behind the two clerics before they'd miss her (hopefully.) She was especially awed by the plant room, spending a couple extra seconds staring. "This is so beautiful! You must be so proud of this place!"

As they reached the Fern Room, she gasped, taking it all in.

OneBadDay

The statue that now rested over the area they were standing in was over fifteen feet tall and made out of a dark marble. It was hauntingly beautiful. "This is for when you eventually take on students."

cereal

Fern opens her eyes and her jaw drops a bit. She opens and closes it a few times, trying to find something to say. It takes her another few moments. "This is...incredible." She pulls away to walk up in front of the statue of the hooded woman, bearing a candle in front of her in an outstretched hand. Fern bows her head and mutters a prayer under her breath before turning to Aetius again. There is a wide, warm smile on her face. "Thank you for this. I don't exactly know how to repay this, but I will try. Easiest starting place is to make sure it see use."

OneBadDay

Aetius smiles but takes a quiet step back to give Fern privacy to commune as she would want to. The feelings he was experience just beneath the surface was the few and small things he would never say out loud but her reaction was all more balming for experience of it. Aetius turns away from Fern before she can catch too many of his facial reactions or thoughts. She had this strange penchant for being in his head without any help as Aetius came to stand beside Dimxe, he gently lead her into the main atrium. It would open into a garden-stone walkway.

Wooferdill

Dimxe grinned as tears pricked at the corners of her eyes. She loved seeing people happy, and this was in no way an exception. When Aetius turned back to her, she nodded with understanding and followed him to the walkway.

OneBadDay

"If you follow me, I can taking you to main healing area." Aetius spoke quietly letting Fern look around while they walked. The clerics in the main atrium were conversing quietly, all seemed to know and greet Fern as they came into the main room. It had ducts built into the stone that fed a main cistern which acted as a perpetual moving waterworks. A feat that would seem near divine since the motions to make this occur would seem absurd, some of the stones making this edifice were floating in mid air. Off to the side, several clerics were training with two of the performing a duel, but it would mostly look like grunting, as they attempted to counterspell, one and another.

The area had covered terraces so the beds were not exposed to the elements but it would seem far more open than most healing houses. Most societies wanted to hide their sick.

cereal

Fern watches them leave, seeming to take notice of the direction they were heading in. She motions in a 'I won't be too long' kind of gesture, before continuing to explore the Vigil's wing.

Wooferdill

She stopped dead as they entered the room, gaping at the impressive cistern. It was clear by the look in her eyes that the arcane gears in her brain turned, trying to figure out how in the world it was functioning. Dimxe didn't even seem to notice the duel; the water had her complete attention.

"Aetius, this place is amazing! I've never seen anything... anything like this before!! This is... I mean, it's incredible!"

OneBadDay

Aetius enjoyed the various reactions and range of emotions passing over the tiny sorcerer's face. "I can't take all the credit, I had many people help along way. People like Fern who have done more for those without ever receiving credit for it. Others who toil in obscurity to help complete strangers. From redeeming this land to salvaging the people before they can fall despair. All the wonder you will ever need is right in here." He motions towards her heart before walking over to a fountain that seemed to float, it also had alcoves going around it, filled with a wide assortment of spices, natural herbs and other ingredients one would need to channel divinity, somatic-ly

Aetius washed his hands before preparing the ingredient components for a dispel magic spell of some variety. The young healer also was waiting for Fern before continuing since she had most experience with curses.

Wooferdill

The comment about her heart made her laugh delightedly. Still watching the fountain, she followed Aetius, barely even noticing where she walked. (This, of course, resulted in a stumble over a bed. She recovered well.) "I mean... just walking into this place makes me feel better. It's so peaceful. Um..." She cast a glance at the floating spice rack. "Should I... sit down?"

cereal

Fern walks into the room, humming a slower tune to herself. She seems slightly more energetic than she had before. It seems the idea of having a place to go outside of her own home has lent a slight spring to her step. “This place is incredible, Aetius. You and the others really did put do yourselves.”

OneBadDay

Aetius smiled at the comment but turned back toward the healing pestle, He wasn't very good at hiding his emotions since the war, though he never thought less of himself for it, it happened too often for his liking which seemed to be funny if anyone stared to closely at him. "I am going to perform a cleansing ritual, others might come in help variously but it should not take long, though the spell I want to try might not work or have adverse reactions. Without knowing more about how this happened, we're guessing at best?" In his way Aetius was attempting to give Dimxe some prehistoric version of informed consent, though it would be at best a novel idea during this period.

Wooferdill

Dimxe caught onto the idea and nodded. "I understand. I'm really sorry I can't tell you much more about how all this happened, but, um, if there's something I can do to help, please let me know!"

OneBadDay

Aetius motioned for Fern to join him, "I'll start cleansing ritual, just follow my lead. " The healer began a light chant, with small droplets of water cascading over Dimxe's head, it had a strange cadance as if their words were messing with the flow of energies around the young blue girl. It was clearly causing some kind of affect but it would be hard for Dimxe to tell what was going on. The pattern seemed almost musical in nature. The other clerics throughout the main atrium seemed to chime in various intervals. As if it was something often practiced but hard for someone not of lay or clergy to understand.

Wooferdill

Dimxe sat as still as she could, trying her best to contain the thousand questions bubbling to mind.

cereal

Fern follows Aetius’s lead, keeping an eye on the magic itself more than anything, making sure things continue smoothly.

OneBadDay

Aetius allowed Fern to take the lead as somber male voices, deep in cadence faded and her's pierced the air, it would seem as if the music itself was healing and renewing Dimxe, but it was effervescent on it's own. Aetius held one long, low tone before listening to Fern's crescendo and it would seem as if the energy now settled in Dimxe had not been there before though she would seem as if she had rested for a very long time and was awoken from a near dream like state. "The first ordeal is complete."

Wooferdill

Dimxe blinked and yawned instinctively. "Um..." She examined her vibrantly blue hand with some concern. "Is... there a second ordeal?"

OneBadDay

Aetius having waited for Fern to finish (you can insert your posts whenever now) The duo would also seem lighter as large amounts of divine energy passed between them, even more than usual. Aetius wondered what Fern was thinking as he looked back at Dimxe, "We're going to attempt to dispel the magic placed upon you first, I think unless Fern disagrees but I think this has a good chance of working because hexes are often derived from chaos. "

cereal

Fern shrugs “It’s as good a chance as any. Cursed are strange, and it’s rare any two can be handled the same way, from my experiences.”

“If that doesn’t work, there are a few other options we have.”

Wooferdill

Dimxe shrugged back. "I made sure to let people know I was busy today, so I have plenty of time! I do hope it works, though. I'd really like to be normal again."

OneBadDay

Aetius looked thoughtful as he raised his mended hand, It was an attempt to see if anything had changed beyond her energy but it seemed in place still as he decided to go through with and attempting to removed affect of wild magic upon Dimxe. The healer contemplated telling her his idea but decided against it since it had a very little chance of it happening. The dispel magic was rather simple in comparison with orchestrated chant that had been performed before. The warscarred moved his hands in a motion before settling on the sequence that made spell come into being. At that moment Aetius froze, Dimxe would probably feel different, or at very least she would feel, very...very-purple.

cereal

Fern raises an eyebrow. “Still blue. Stubborn little knot in the thread isn’t it?”

Wooferdill

Dimxe looked down at her hand again. "I... um... I don't think this... This isn't my normal skin...

purxee.png

A faintly horrified look passed across her face. "You can still fix it, right??"

OneBadDay

Aetius tried to comfort Dimxe while looking at Fern with a perplexed look. "Tell me if I've forgotten but dispel magic shouldn't work like that right?" He looked from Fern to Dimxe several times before scratching his chin and looking at the now purple woman. "A cosmic joke, it is. " He canted his head before looking back at Fern, "Any ideas?"

cereal

“No, it definitely shouldn’t work like that. As for ideas, there’s always the restoration spells, though I only know the lesser. And there is a spell that can brute force it’s way into ending any curse, if I remember right.” Fern hums to herself, lost in thought, rubbing her thumb over her holy symbol.

OneBadDay

Aetius thought about it before running his mind over the idea. "Remove curse seems like the more logical choice than restoration considering how powerful those are in comparison. "Perhaps you should do the honors." he motioned to floating pestle so that his fellow cleric could try her hand and see if she had more luck than he at this current junction.

Aetius looked at Dimxe, "This shouldn't hurt but my guess is you will not remain purple, and as long as you do not explode, totally recoverable."

Wooferdill

"I have exploded before! Kind of, anyway! I came out okay!" Dimxe said helpfully, and offered the clerics a thumbs up.

cereal

Fern laughs. “You shouldn’t explode. I think. I haven’t done this spell in a while though, so we’ll see how it goes.” She begins speaking in a quiet and rhythmic pattern, and her hands seems to be pulling something apart. Her hands and the chanting stop at the same time, and the spell ends. Dimxe’s skin slowly fades back to its normal color.

OneBadDay

Aetius held one hand under an elbow and the other ran a finger over his face as he watched Fern complete an excellent incantation. "It's hag's tree all over again, I really should have let you dive into that pool." He spoke humorously, with a bit of envy and pride mixed in their at simple efficiency of her divine magic. Aetius created a small reflective pool in mid-air so Dimxe could see her reflection. "Are we close?"

cereal

Fern shrugs again “It’s almost like we work well together.”

Wooferdill

Dimxe stared at her reflection, squinting at the ripples. "Oh my gosh!" She raised a hand to her face, grinning. "Hey!! That's my normal skin!!"

thats_a_dimxe.png

The girl laughed delightedly before hopping up from her seat on the bed. "Thank you both so much! Is... I mean, what can I do for you in return?" She reached for her belt wallet.

OneBadDay

Aetius sighed but smiled, "I do hate it when you're right." He smiled at Fern before looking back at Dimxe, "Another satisfied customer. Oh right, we don't charge. " He smiled warmly before letting the water disappear. He gently motioned for Dimxe to keep her money.

cereal

Fern nods in agreement

Wooferdill

She looked up, confused. "Don't... you need money for, um, your herbs and spices or anything?"

cereal

“I don’t, and unless Aetius does, I think you’re fine.”

Wooferdill

"Is there another way I could offer my thanks, then? Do you ever need, um, volunteers?"

OneBadDay

Aetius seemed mildly insulted. "I know I pursued some business ventures for the good of the town but that was low, dear. " thinking Fern was being a bit cheeky, probably over the toad still.

cereal

Fern winks “Don’t steal from me again then.”

OneBadDay

"We do not have an official policy on volunteers and most of the people here are either sick, or enjoying the gardens or clerics. I'm sure we could find something for you to do but it isn't really necessary. " Aetius would seem to be holding his tongue at this point.

"If you would willingly leave your quiet hollows but for more than an evening, it would be easier to get your attention. " he responded with a bit of snark. His congenial attitude aiming back at Dimxe, "I know you feel like you owe but that isn't what we're about here. "

Wooferdill

She frowns. "I do understand that, and I know you don't need repayment, but I'd like to help with... whatever I could help with around here, if I can! I didn't even know this place existed until a week or two ago!"

cereal

Fern looks to Aetius, deferring to his opinion on this case

OneBadDay

Aetius was thinking as he tried to find something that she could do as a lay person but not being sick. "We have large fields of plants that we tend to various herbs, spices and components for healing salves and potions that local potion makers create for times of great need or when they're no healers available. I do not know if you have a green thumb, but that work is largely time consuming tending, watering them. "How about that?"

Aetius looked at Fern, "They're other things I wanted to show you, we found some amazing things near by."

Wooferdill

Dimxe nodded happily. "I would love to come by and help you guys water your plants! I'll try not to, um, cast any spells while I'm here though. I wouldn't want to wreck anything."

cereal

Fern tilts her head curiously “Should be interesting then.”

OneBadDay

Aetius thought about it. "We have divine magic that suppresses most aggressive forms of magic in areas around the temple and healing house. It would be very hard to do damage inside the grounds. It would take a strong cleric to break the wards, so I am quite sure you could help without even causing accidental damage." He smiled at her while asking Dimxe how she felt.

Aetius went mind to mind with Fern, showing her images of the sands surrounding the temple, one area in paticular had a massive footprint in it, and it showed Aetius raising what looks like an old scale, it had colors of white with red edging, it was near translucent at times while also reflective, even fallen off, it was huge and impressive.

A cave entrance was also near the clay side of the beach

cereal

Fern responds mentally, merely with an impression of curiosity.

Wooferdill

Her face brightened immensely at the mention of the wards. "Wow, really? That's amazing!" Her body visibly relaxes a bit. She'd clearly been worried about inadvertently releasing a spell. She bobbed her head to both Fern and Aetius. "Thank you again so much for, um, turning me back to normal. I'll be sure to stop by again if I need anything!"

cereal

She smiles warmly. “Of course. I’m glad we could help.”

OneBadDay

Aetius seemed a little bemused but happy as he came in second place again to Fern but said nothing outwardly about it. "The healing house will always be open for you in any time of need and let others know we're here and willing to help in whatever way we can."
