Raven just wanted a nice guy.

She wanted someone who could laugh with her, someone who could make her happy while she brought out the best in them. She wanted someone who could join her in her early morning jogs at the park. She wanted someone who would respect her and she’d respect them back.

She didn’t want this.

She thought Paisley had been a nice guy... until he threw her into his basement one day and never let her go.

She thought Yin had been a nice guy... until he started proving her wrong with his true colors.

His fingers traveled in places she didn’t want explored and his eyes were always latched onto her, an intense gaze boring into her soul. The longer she was chained down in this dark and dreary hellhole, all for him to savor, the more she felt a piece of her soul break off bit by bit, until she was nothing but an empty shell of who she used to be.

No matter how hard she screamed or how hard she cried, no matter how much her vocals ached and her eyes stung, there was no one else there.

Eventually, she grew desensitized to it all.

His touch still made her itch, but she had come to acknowledge it without much struggle over time. She knew the drill, there was nothing more important than making him satisfied and going along with his every whim.

She was his girlfriend now, all for him to indulge in. He’d cherish her so much that he’d break her.

And for the remainder of her days with him, the free spirit that used to bring light to her eyes would eventually die.
