Gryphons have a habit of hiding their eggs in odd places and forgetting about them. Can you bring them back to our hatchery so we can take care of the chicks?

Depict your character hunting for eggs in weird places. The bulk of them will be on T’teré d’la Mer, a large tropical mountain packed tightly with homes. However, the gryphons like to be sneaky, so who knows where they will turn up! The eggs are soft, flatter than most eggs, and have tribal patterns on them.

Egg Hunt

In another part of the world not so far away, a certain blond haired incubus was also searching the forest for eggs. Not used to the warm sticky forest, Elija was mildly suffering during his search. The griffons really knew how to hide their eggs away from predators, but that wouldn't deter him! He was determined to save the baby birds before they hatched and were at the mercy of predators. For a demon, he was surprisingly sweet on all sorts of children. They were adorable innocents of the world.

Peeking under a log, Gemsla was acting as his second set of eyes for the day. She floated with her body of jewels around her rider instead of resting on his neck. Occasionally she would bring eggs to him that she'd find high in the trees, but most of them were either black eggs with tan markings, or blue eggs with black markings. He was fairly sure she was blind to color given that she kept bringing back eggs that at least had the right shaped markings on them. "I'm sorry precious, this one is red. Take it back for me please and let's see if Yua has had any better luck." Giving the sadly clinking dragon a kiss, he searched a little more in her absence before they headed off to find the other together.

Wrapped around a tan colored egg similar to his own color, Levi heaved a long groan as he picked up the big egg and brought it to Yua, who was now pulling off his shirt as he tired of the heat as well. Tossing the piece of clothing over his shoulder with the sleeveless jacket he was also wearing, he held out his hand to take the egg Levi was waiting to give to him.

“Hmmmmm, close, but needs more black markings. like uhhhh.” Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out his phone and scrolled through the pictures until he set on the tan eggs with feather-like tribal markings. “Like this, look at the circles and wispy lines. That’s what we’re looking for.”

“There aren’t any in tan though! Do they have to be tan?”

“Yeah, it says they’re tan. Just keep looking.” Watching as the soup noodle dragon floated off, Yua continued on his search too, pulling up a rock to look in the crevice between it and the ground but only found a few normal eggs and the mother lizard who hissed at him. “Oh, sorry dear.” Setting the rock down carefully he hummed as he strolled on, whistling for Levithan to follow him as neither seemed to be having luck.

“Any word from Elija finding any?” the furry noodle asked, wrapping around Yua’s horn to rest for a moment.

“Sadly not, maybe we should go find them at this rate...”

Gliding over the treetops with Gem at his side, Elija was on his way to the last place he met with Yua when his dragon tugged on his clinging clothes. "Hm?" Letting her lightly tug him off of his path, they glided down together were the thunder dragon pointed out a disturbed pile of leaves. They were still fresh and green so the tan color poking out of them caught his eye right away. Landing to brush the foliage away, a tan egg with black tribal markings appeared!

Waving Gem over for snuggles, he rubbed against the jeweled dragon telling her how good of a job she did. Having the large egg in tow, he was soon off again on their search for Yua. Not too difficult a task given they were flightless. A bit of a tease himself by nature, Elija was excited enough to tackle the other rider from behind, wrapping his legs around their neck as he perched on their shoulders, holding the egg safely to his chest. "Guess who~"

“This?” Levi asked, his voice growing higher in desperation to please.

“No, no, thicker lines.” Yua sighed, knowing his noodle best but it was not the eggs he was looking for. “It’s fine Levi, I promise. You’re doing a very good job.”

Even if not finding those elusive eggs, he kept some of the eggs for cooking as an egg was an egg regardless of what kind of egg it was. Maybe he could make something with the new flavor profiles and work it into his menu for the time being, he kept gathering the eggs Levi brought back to him and was putting them in his side bag when Elija floated down, landing gently on his shoulder.

“Oh, there they are!” Levi said happily, flying up to rub against Elijah’s face and rest on his shoulder while Yua rubbed on Elija’s bare leg and looked up.

“Oh, hello there darling. I can see you had better luck then us. We have lots of random eggs though, so breakfast when we get home?” He suggested, not feeling too bad he took some of the abandoned eggs that didn’t seem like they were too far long or cared for to begin with. Maybe a predator had taken the parents or maybe they weren’t fertilized, he’d find out when they got home.

“Ooooo, eggs and sausage! With toast and pancakes! And maybe some chocolate milk~” drooling for a moment, Levithan started going on and on about breakfast ideas, making Yua sigh as he started off towards the home on wheels.

“Yeah yeah, sure we can have all that, But you have to share~”

Getting a groan, he laughed as he leaned back into the other incubus, more than happy to be their mule to get back home as he hadn’t tired any.
