Gate 21

Just like Viper, Alexei knew that there wasn't anything left here for him anymore. The only person he had felt comfortable around his left and was presumably dead. There wasn't really any reason to stay around here any longer. Besides, Alexei had somewhere better to go. He had met a girl, just by chance. She was kind and promised him things like a warm place to sleep and someone to talk to. Alexei didn't have anything to his name, so he decided that just leaving would be a suitable option. "Alexei! Where are you going?" Turning, Alexei met Ivory's eyes as the smaller serval caught up to him and pressed pink nose to Alexei's chin. The serval's mother had left him the day before. He didn't seem too bothered, so he supposed that Ivory wouldn't be bothered by his leaving either. Why would he be? Alexei wasn't anything to miss. "Away." The Russian man answered with a simple shrug. He turned away from Ivory and carried on his quest out of the Dark Dynasty's territory. Ivory appeared in front of him again, his face creased with a stupid look of concern. "Where?" "Away." "Why won't you tell me?" Ivory insisted, his brow creased. He knew Alexei very well. Suspicion flickered in the tan serval's eyes. "Why don't you stay?" Alexei could feel his temper starting to get short with the young Frenchman already. "Because. I'd rather not stay in this fucking place and live with someone who cares about me?" Brushing his way past Ivory once again, Alexei's tail lashed back and forth. "I care about you!" Ivory huffed, running alongside Alexei to keep pace with him. A soft growl rumbled in Alexei's throat. "You're never home when I need you." "You never ask!" Ivory snapped. In truth, Alexei had fallen in with Ivory out of necessity. He had been lonely and Ivory was there, so he had figured why not? He hadn't expected to fall in love with the Frenchman and have Ivory reciprocate the same feelings. It was all fine and well until Ivory left. Ivory had left and never came back until now. Frankly, Alexei was pissed about it. He had lost all love he had felt for the little Frenchman. Alexei had moved on. However, Ivory as still caught in this dream world fantasy that they could still have something. Sure, they had slept together and been inseparable since Ivory's return, but that meant nothing. Alexei decided to tell Ivory plain and simple. "I found a girl and I'm leaving." he stated. "You found a girl and you're leaving?" Ivory echoed, giving Alexei a strange look. "What the fuck? Like, three days ago, you said you weren't going to leave and that you loved me?" The Frenchman was trying to put the pieces together in his mind. "I stayed here for you. I could have left with Viper." "Why didn't you? You don't need me anyway." Alexei answered smoothly, the tip of his tail twitching with malice. "And this girl... this one that you've know for what, a few days max cares about you more than I do? I came back here for you." Ivory returned. Alexei shook his head, laughing under his breath. "You're a stupid bitch." Ivory paused, biting his lip with apprehension. "And your new girl is any better? I mean, she's got to be to fall in love with you so quickly. Not that you even love her, Alexei, fucking honestly! You don't love people. You use people and then get bored of them." Ivory glared up at Alexei. "You need to fucking stay here, Alexei and you know that but you don't want to." Ivory stood nose to nose with Alexei, challenging him. The tiger drew to his full height and towered over top of Ivory. "Don't you fucking try me, bitch, listen." He hissed, teeth clenched. "Of fucking course, I didn't care about you." "So I'm supposed to just let you walk out and kill yourself?" Ivory's words set Alexei off. He grabbed Ivory's chin, his claws digging into the serval's lips. "I didn't love you. No one does. Why do you think every one of Viper's boyfriends treated you like they did? Because you're nothing." "That's not fair--" Ivory's words were cut off with Alexei's claws tearing into his cheek. Ivory recoiled, nearly falling backwards. He stared at Alexei in fearful shock. The Russian man glared at Ivory for a moment, sneering. "Choke and fucking die, see if I care." Without another word, Alexei turned and left Ivory alone to bleed on the grass, alone.
