Dragons must undergo thorough courtship traditions before others will be interested in breeding with them. The Grand Display pushes their skills to the limit, ensuring only the finest of Dragons will go on to breed. Each element has their own traditions to impress others of their kind, though this same practice can dissuade their opposing element from breeding. Regardless of this, achieving their own element’s Grand Display is a dream of every growing dragon, and they are eager to enter into the ceremony as soon as permitted.

Show your dragon traveling outside of their normal terrain (in example, if they are a Storm dragon, they could travel through a desert. there should be no sandstorms or anything that would make it cozier for them.).

Flexibility Trial

Since they'd both been together to complete their strength trial, Rose and Mistral decided it was easier to complete the rest side by side; the 'fight' had concluded, both dragons exhausted, but their companions happy enough with their display of strength; they'd rested for the night as the storm surged over them; and the next day began looking for a companion each to assist with the next part of the trail.

It hadn't taken long, though... both females had been bemused by one of the dragons what was assisting them; a small... box like dragon that waddled on arms; he was friendly enough though and seemed eager to take them into the depths of the earth, into a terrain that suited neither dragon; the second companion was larger, and assured them that he'd had helped others before; something he took great pride in.

Which was how they ended up quite far below the earth, the dark cave walls closing in; Rose had struggled at first, the lack of light, the stagnant air pressing against her; hoof by hoof she made her way over the earthern path, glad for the reassuring presence of Raphael, not once did he admonish her or urge her to go quicker, he just waited until she was comfortable. Mistral at first didn't mind, she was small enough that she the narrow cavern walls didn't hinder her flight, and so her and Boxy had gone ahead... but soon the lack of fresh ait, the stillness got to her, and she started to land every now and again, the box like dragon returning to sit by her; shuddering she waited, focusing on the footfalls coming closer, the delicate hooves of Rose, a nose touched her.

The 4 remained in place for a while, giving both females time to recover, and though still not comfortable with the terrain, they managed to work their way past it; suddenly Boxy waddled off, the movements so quick that Rose and Mistral stared. It was Raphael that spoke up, his soft voice echoing in the dark. "If you look closely, you can see what he's found.". Though they're eyes had adjusted to the gloom, it took both dragons a few moments to pick up on the faint green that stuck out from the wall, and emerald, and next to it was Boxy, gathering a few loose stones, looking around, they started to see not just the emerald clusters, but Onyx as well, the dark gemstones all but hidden, their light far less than that of the green jewels.

"Ready? Raphael asked as Boxy came back, holding out a stone each for them; nodding they started moving again, turning down a side path, both dragons relaxed somewhat, a faint breeze filtering through from beyond, and the sound of running water as well; though everything in the females to hurry to that sound, neither increased their speed, Rose continuing to pick her way and Mistral flying just off... and it was just as well, just as the storm dragon flew over the side of a clarge chasm, one of Rose's hooves hit nothing and she stopped, had they gone anyquicker, the light dragon would of fallen...

The chasm was wide, but they followed it, Mistral flying over the egde to help guide Rose, the males behind them a reassuring presence; a large stone 'bridge' spanned the gap, and beyond the water sounded closer, the breeze fresh..... still careful in their movements, hey headed towards it; though neither dragoness would say they were completely comfortable in the darkened earth, at least, it would be easier to traverse in future.....
