Dragons must undergo thorough courtship traditions before others will be interested in breeding with them. The Grand Display pushes their skills to the limit, ensuring only the finest of Dragons will go on to breed. Each element has their own traditions to impress others of their kind, though this same practice can dissuade their opposing element from breeding. Regardless of this, achieving their own element’s Grand Display is a dream of every growing dragon, and they are eager to enter into the ceremony as soon as permitted.

Show your dragon traveling outside of their normal terrain (in example, if they are a Storm dragon, they could travel through a desert. there should be no sandstorms or anything that would make it cozier for them.). Another dragon from another player of the terrain’s element that has already completed their Grand Display must accompany the dragon.

Flexibility Trial

The ocean gleamed under the midday sun, a far cry from the terrain the two challengers had just come from; the sand they were stood the onlt land in front of them for as far as either could see, both were waiting for their 'companions' to turn up. King was laid out on the sands, curiously running a shell through her claws, Morkal was perched on the edge of a large rock pool, following the movements of its inhabitants. "As long as i don't get a stupid whistling bird, i honestly don't care who guides us here." Morkal hissed earning a laugh from the spotted dragon. She stood suddenly, tail lashing spotting two forms coming towards them... both were small... smaller than both her and Morkal, who moved over to stand in the waters as the two other dragons surfaced... and blinked as the star pearls floated around them both. "How are you meant to help." Morkal hissed glaring at them as the seahorse fluttered over, her fins tiny, but it was the other dragon that spoke, playfully spitting water at King. "We'll manage." at her words, both dragons star pearls started whirling, churning the water in a show of magic. "Hmmph." Morkal responded.

King waded into the waters sooner than Morkal, Popple her companion gently swimming around her. "Take your time." She said softly, her fins keeping her stable; King grinned back, and keeping her frill folded, kicked off from the shore, thankfully water wasn't too alien for her, though she didn't mind admitting she'd never gone deeper than her ankles. She didn't go to far out at first, getting used to moving in the shallows, the small dragon who was her companion offering small, but helpful bits of advice. After a few moments, Popple sent her star pearl away from them, into the deeper waters, still visible, something for King to aim for, paddling, King set off, the waters no longer still from her exertions.

Morkal was more reluctant to get into the water, but, the sooner he completed the this trial the sooner he could return to Kaynen, Jiang, as his companion was called didn't push him, simply waiting, her tail wrapped around a rock to keep herself steady; he could see King swimming... well... sort of.... though she was moving in a forward direction so it counted. Wading into the waters, it didn't take long before he could no longer touch the ground, flaring his wings slightly to control himself he floated on the the top of the water... much like a seagull would, testing, he kicked with his legs, moving foward... humming under his breath, a song of sorts.... using his magic to 'levitate' slightly, which made it far easier "Comfortable?" Jiang asked from next to him, her body more often than not, moving with the currents in the water. He turned to her, there'd been something in her voice that had his nape prickling in warning.

He squawked as the waters shifted around him, and he was dragged under, swirling a winding, it took him some time to get his bearings and to be able to suface for air, glaring at the small dragon next to him. "You..." Jiang cut him off. "King's trial is to swim, yours is to swim underwater, its all good floating, but if a storm happens and the waters turn, quite often it is safer to be under the surface. "Fine." Morkal hissed, and dove... or tried to, he was naturally floaty it seemed, in fact it was harder for him to remain under the surface. After a few attempts, he managed to stay under, literally 'flying' beneath the waters, only surfacing when he needed air. Though still annoyed at Jiang, who honeslty seemed to just go where the waters took her, he found he was actually making leeway in the waters, he could see King paddling still, and headed towards her and her companion.

King focused only on the star pearl, paddling towards it as Popple kept moving it further out, at first her swimming had been messy, but it soon smoothed out as she got more and more used to it; she spotted Morkal surfacing close by, but continued to head towards the star pearl, which was slowly leading her back to shore..
