Beaming Down

Beaming down made Mar dizzy. It had always been like that. His landing was rough and he sat down. The dirt warmed by the beam that had hit the ground. The world spun around Mar.

  “Bleh.”

His stomach felt like it was inside out. He flopped over, resting till the sick passed.

Beam down sssuccessssful. Teleporter worksss jussst fine.

Mar eventually stood up and dusted himself off. He set off walking in a random direction, no plan other then clearing his senses of the dizzy spell and of the smell of the ship. A smell he had hardly been able to stand. He would have to clean it more at some point, he had done his best. But he had shoved most of the physical mess into a corner of the ship. That was going to be terrible when he got back...

“But,” he muttered to himself, “that’sss the problem for future Floran.”

𝕊𝕤𝕤𝕙𝕚𝕡'𝕤 𝕝𝕠𝕘…
Make a reminder… Floran isss to clean ssship once Floran findsss bucket and water.

He shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. That made his head spin. Stumbling as the world took to making circles again, Mar struggled to keep forward.

Each spin that the ground seemed to make, caused his head to throb. Dropping to the ground again and curling into a small ball seemed to help. At least, with the spinning. He choked as pressure built in his head, till he opened his eyes and there was a kaleidoscope of colors. Everything shook. Shapes and movement blurred the world.

  He couldn’t move.

He tried to move, but his muscles would just twitch. Lights danced as he tried to keep his eyes open. And that was a thing he failed to do. Eyes shutting, the lights faded to a dull glow.

The world was blissfully dark and peaceful with his eyes shut.

Opening his eyes to a world of memory.
