Zombie Night
ZOMBIE AU: Player can tell that his Reck is tired.
“You look so tired, sweetheart.” Player sat beside Reck, leaning over him and placing a hand on his chest. Reck blinked, and turned towards him. Player put his head on Reck’s shoulder. “Let me take over. I’ll keep you safe, sweetheart. I’m all nice and rested.” Reck sighed, covering Player’s hand with his own.
“I can’t get to sleep that easy, you know that.” He said softly. Player smiled, and slowly pushed his hand behind Reck’s back. He rubbed his back in slow, circular motions. Reck sighed softly.
“Reck, I’ll keep an eye out. Close those peepers for me.” Reck had a tiny, soft smile as he closed his eyes. “There we go.”
Player leaned his head on Reck’s shoulder, snuggling in the crook of his neck. He rubbed Reck’s back until his breathing evened, his eyes stopped fluttering, and his muscles relaxed. Player smiled and pulled away to see his sleeping partner. Reck had fallen fast asleep.
Player smiled, and kissed Reck’s cheek. It would be a long night, but Reck deserved it. He knew his sweetheart needed the sleep.
