What a great day it’s been!
Benji had gotten to finally finish up a client’s sleeve tattoo he’d been working on-and-off on for years, and it looked great! They even consented to pictures being posted on his work Instagram! He couldn’t wait to show Zeb the work he’d gotten done!
As he joyously flung the door to their shared apartment over, he was surprised to see Zeb sitting on the couch! It looked like he had been waiting there for a little while.
“Hey babe!! I wanna show you someth—“
“Benji. We need to talk.”
Oh. Wow, he usually doesn’t say Benji. What a swift way to completely change Benji’s mood.
“Wh—uhm—what is it, babe…?” Benji asked nervously.
“You… Need to stop calling me that.” Zeb sighed. “I’m sorry, Benji, but I don’t love you any more.”
“W-what?”
Wowzers, Benji’s whole life is falling apart!
“Was it something I did? I’m sorry about whatever it was! I, I can change, just give me a chance.”
“Sorry, Benji,” Zeb huffed, getting up and picking up a suitcase that was on the floor next to him that Benji hadn’t noticed before. “It’s just not going to work out. Goodbye.”
Benji could barely hold himself together as Zeb walked out of their previously shared apartment, closing the door behind him.
“Fuck!!!!” Benji screamed before laying down and dying.
