Chapter 1

I sighed and stretched out my back. Sitting behind this cash register isn't doing much for my back. I walked out from behind the counter and ran my fingers along my smooth fabrics. I brushed my fingers along Lulu's little table with her impressively pretty flower collections.
"I'm going out for a walk Lulu, man the store for me? And DON'T pocket anything shiny while I'm gone."  I said to Lulu
"Hee hoo Lulu will be at the front desk for Aisy. Lulu got upgraded! hee hoo hee hoo"
I chuckled a bit and turned, feeling for the door. Usually I would be fine just staying in my house. My sanctuary. I would usually be just fine tending to the yards of fabric for the lovely guides and seekers who come in. Usually I would be fine giving the horde of slabsters waiting outside my door 10 minutes before closing hour for the lovely brightly coloured silky fabric scraps.  Well that was until I started wanting more. I wanted someone to share this life with. Of course I had Lulu, but on the inside I wanted a bond-mate. I was quite a romantic on the inside, but I would tell myself I didn't need a bond-mate. What I had was enough I would tell myself. And...in a way it was. I was very happy but I just wanted someone to share it with. I felt sort of wrong thinking what I had wasn't enough but as I walked around the city of lights, but the tugging on my inside, my soul was telling me that I was lonely. I had a happy life, yes, but I saw the chance to be happier. I wanted it, and given the chance I would jump at it.
