Chapter 1
Tonight was going to be a good, good night. While it sucked that Benji’s boyfriend had work, the other, newer roommates were out, and that meant that the apartment was his and his alone.
He fully intended to take advantage of that.
Pizza had been ordered. The Twilight Saga was ready to go, with the first disc in the DVD player. Magic the Gathering cards were set up on the table, ready to be crafted into the most perfect deck that one could ever imagine.
There was just one thing missing.
“Princess!” he called.
The dog came running, barking happily, nearly slamming Benji right in the knees. Benji yelped, stumbled, and then slammed the back of his head on the oven.
Yep. Just what he meant -- a nice, throbbing ache in the back of his head. Some argued that he needed that to really enjoy Twilight, but he didn’t pay those people any mind. This wouldn’t stop him, though. Benji rubbed the back of his head, scratched Princess’ head, and made his way to the couch.
Time for a relaxing evening with a side of a headache.
