Purity Forest: 2F

Purity Forest 2f: upon acending to the next floor, the forest still seemed just as noisy as before. There was some hope that this leg of the dungeon wouldnt be as troubling as the previous.

Hanging in a tree not too far from them was a buneary, looking like they were reaching for something. Upon closer inspection it was reaching out for a few sitrus berries. But the branch it was hanging on did not look strong enough to hold its weight for long.

Seeing the situation, what does your team decide to do?

“Ooooh man I just— I can’t BELIEVE that guy Al.”

“Mando—”

“Nearly upping the amount of berries to get just ‘cause we’re helping, hiding said berries to call that Eevee a liar—”

“Mando—”

“Not to mention demanding US to take care of him, why I oughta take care of that mushroom actually—”

“Mando I get it!” Al yelled. “He wasn’t the best ‘mon we’ve ever talked to, I know that. But he’s gone now and we still have to look out for that Wild Orb. Can we just move on please?” He rubbed his temples. “I want to get this done.”

Armando grimaced at the brown bird’s own rant, even if it was much smaller than his own. “Aight man I’m sorry, let’s go.”

The duo continued their flight until Al noticed a lone Buneary in a tree, trying to reach for some berries. Despite their last encounter, he still wanted to help so he swooped down, with Armando not far behind him.

Noticing the branch’s instability, he called for the blue bird to support it, and with a salute, Armando flew below the branch to support the branch the Buneary was on on his back.

Meanwhile, Al landed on the branch that had the berries, using his weight to bend it so the food was within the Buneary’s reach. “Here you go! Can you reach these?”

The buneary was surprised but super grateful for the help of the two birds. It reached the berries with ease, thanking the two for their help. It was only a few moments once it had the berries that it looked at them and then offered **x2 berries** for their help. Of course it had 4 more berries in its paws but two berries was kind enough.

As it was leaving, it wasnt aware of the fact that the next branch was far lower and farther away than the current branch, so the pokemon decided to take a little hop but missed the banch, falling down, down, down... into berry bushes.

Al’s brows go up, surprised but appreciative of the gesture as he took the berries from the Buneary. “Oh thanks, that’s very kind of you.” He watched as the bunny leapt off the branch and grimaced when it missed its landing. “Oh no—“

Armando winced as well when the Buneary fell into the bushes. Being closer to the ground, he was the first to reach the shrub, landing on the branch closest to it. “Yo— you alright there lil buddy??”

"urf... urrr... y-yea i think so..." the bunny grumbled. He looked around at his surroundings, having been too dazed previous to see where he did land. But now he could see he was in a berry bush. Which made his lips water. More berries to bring home.

The pokemon struggled out of the bush but managed to get out. He dusted himself off before he thanked the birds once again.

"Even if i did fall, i still gotta thank you two because if i fell before, i might've not landed on a bush. Which brings me, you two dont look like you are from around here?"

Al chuckled a bit now that he knew the Buneary was fine. He sighed. “Thank goodness.”

He flew lower until he landed next to his companion. “It’s really no problem, we’re glad you didn’t get hurt.” The brown bird nodded in affirmation at the rabbit’s question. “You’re right! We’re from Daffodil Towne actually— we’re just here to retrieve something for someone.”

"Daffodil Towne, huh?" His ears perked a little at it. He had heard of the place. "Ive heard from others that its not very big. Havent had anyone yet come through here, but ive heard it on the wind.

"maybe ill see it someday myself." he muttered. then he went and picked up his dropped berries and some new ones. But it all seemed to be way too much for him to hold and a few fell out. "aha... dont suppose you two could help me carry these to my burrow?"

The Pidgey laughed a bit. “Yeah, it’s small but it’s home. My family owns a ranch in it, though I mostly take care of it these days.”

His brows went up at the berries and he swooped down to carry some in his claws. “Oh of course! We’d be happy to help.”

Armando snickered as he followed suit to pick up some berries as well. The Pidgey looked at him with a brow raised. “What?”

The blue bird whispered so the Buneary couldn’t hear, mimicking Alex’ voice the best he can. *”Can we move on Mando?? I want to get this Done,”*

Alex snorted as he bumped into Armando jokingly. “Oh come on, you know we have to help.”

The Taillow laughed. “I know! I just think it’s real funny.” He turned to the rabbit as Alex rolled his eyes with a shake of his head. “But yeah man, you got some extra claws with ya now! We’ll get these berries home *real* quick.”

The pokemon happily hopped with sparkles in his eyes. He picked up a few himself and led the way to his burrow. Luckily it wasnt very far, but it was far enough that if he left berries unattended they could get snatched up right away.

He placed the berries next to his little hole and kicked them inside, motioning for the birds to place them down so he could kick them in.

"Really, thanks you two. Oh! before you go, i found these." the normal pokemon ruffled his ear fluffs and out popped 7 little objects. "I found these in the berry bush, maybe they might be useful?"

Both birds dropped the berries next to the hole as instructed, and soon enough all of them were safe in the Buneary’s burrow.

Alex smiled. “No problem! I’m glad we could help.” His smile widened at the seeds and he accepted them without hesitation. “Oh wow, thank you! We do have someone back at the ranch who can tend to these.”

Knowing that some of their crops would be fully harvested by now, it was nice to know they’ll have some plants to take their place soon.

The buneary was happy with the help it found today, and would think about a possible future at Daffodil Towne.
