Purity Forest: 3F

Purity Forest 3f: it didnt take too long for the team to encounter the bonsly who they were searching for. A loud commotion caused the team to go in that direction and find that the little pokemon was already in a bit of a struggle. A pichu was pulling on the wild orb, attempting to take it away from bonsly.

>>What does your team do about this?

Feeling rejuvenated from his meeting with the Buneary, Alex was determined to see this mission through and come back with the orb. Surely they had to be close by now. The duo flew some more and eventually heard some commotion going on. And lo and behold, following the noise brought them right to the orb they were after.

Though the brown bird didn’t expect the struggle to begin before they even got there.

The thieving Bonsly was there, but the Pichu was new. Could this be another thief, wanting the orb for themselves? Someone who knew it was stolen so they were trying to help? He couldn’t be sure. Mando, stubborn as he was, knew that his leader should be the one making decisions here. “Yo Al, what’re we gonna do?”

Alex furrowed his brow in thought and as an answer, the Pidgey flew to the floor and shouted at the two arguing pokemon, making their presence known. “Hey! What’s going on here?”

"Its mine!" The pichu yelled, holding onto the orb tightly. Meanwhile the bonsly kept trying to keep its grip on it.

"No! I found it first!" The two baby pokemon where unaware atfirst of the presence of the team. Whatevrr the appeal was of the orb, it was obviously coveted by two pokemon now.

Mando stretched his claws as he watched the struggle. “Come on Al, it’s right there! We should just take it and go!”

Alex sighed, he was getting ignored here. He wasn’t fond of the idea of just taking the thing while they were still fighting over it, but it was one way to grab their attention. So he gestured at the blue bird in a ‘go ahead’ motion.

Taking that as a yes, Mando dove down and snatched the object right from the arguing pokemon’s paws (branches??). He flew on ahead but stopped when he noticed the other bird wasn’t following him. “Al? Come on let’s go, we got it!”

The brown bird shook his head. “Not yet!” He hated conflict more than anything, so he still wanted to see if he could find the cause of this struggle, even if they already got what was necessary for their mission. Alex addressed the other pokemon again. “You two! What’s wrong, maybe we can help?”

Mando shook his head. His partner in crime’s officially gone nuts.

"Wa- hey! thats mine!" the bonsly cried, hopping rather angrily. Pichu chuckled at the pokemon and teased him for the fact that he didnt have it anymore. However Bonsly wasnt going to take that from Pichu and attacked him.

Pichu was startled but attacked the pokemon back, making him land on his rump. And thats when Bonsly did what Bonsly do, he began to cry. Pichu wasnt falling for it.

"crybaby! crybaby crybaby! Hes a crybaby!" Pichu chanted, telling the pidgey who was flapping on in. "His thing is gone and now hes a crybaby!"

Alex furrowed his brow and stepped between the two of them before they could hurt each other further. He held out a wing towards each of them in a stop gesture “Hey! That’s enough of that, surely we can get through this *peacefully*”

Worried for the crying pokemon, the Pidgey turned towards the Bonsly. “Are you sure it’s yours? We were tasked with bringing back a Wild Orb for someone, because a Bonsly took it from them” He didn’t want to make accusations right away. Even if it was a Bonsly, it didn’t mean they were the thief. Alex didn’t want to make the same mistake the Eevee did when he was chasing a stranger.

Mando eventually joined them on the ground, orb still in his claws. He knew the brown bird was a good mediator, but he can’t trust that the others won’t do any funny business yet.

"Y-yea its mine. Deerling wouldnt share." The bonsly sniffled as tears still ran down its face. It kicked its legs feebly where it sat on the ground, ready for a tantrum.

Pichu meanwhile looked annoyed and walked over to the tiny tree past the wings of the bird. It then hit the little tree with a paw and said it was a bad tree. Pichu even attempted to give it an electric shock, which only worked a little but was enuff to make the bonsly cry again.

Alex frowned. “It’s not really yours if you’re upset the Deerling wouldn’t share, is it? It’s their choice whether they wanted you to use it,” he explained while scratching his head. “You wouldn’t want someone to take your things without permission would you?”

His eyes went wide when the Pichu went and hit the small tree again, moving to hold the electric mouse back. “Oh come on, that *really* isn’t necessary—“

Mando groaned. This is getting ridiculous, even for him. “Can we just all go back? We can ask once and for all who this thing belongs to.”

The bonsly sat there and thought about the thing he was told, only when the pichu was pushed away to prevent from being hit once again. Pichu was very intent to hurt them again but was starting to cool off now.

"I-i guess not..." The little tree said, looking down at the ground. "But its still mine. Gimmie!"

"He's a selfish greedy crybaby!" The pichu exclaimed and then stomped off. His luttle black tail the last they saw of him as he left into the bushes.

"I wanna stay here and keep!gimmie gimmie!"

Alex called out to the Pichu as he left. “We got that, thank you!”

He let out a long sigh. This wasn’t getting anywhere. “I’m sorry, but since it isn’t yours you can’t keep it.” The Pidgey did consider giving something in return, but he didn’t want to encourage the Bonsly to trade stolen goods.

Feeling he couldn’t do anything else for the rock type, he took to the air. “I hope you think about what you did, I don’t want to catch you with someone else’s things again!”

Armando followed suit, the orb safely in his possession. Pro to being a bird: they can just fly away.

Leaving the bonsly behind may have been the best choice. Its cries were soon nothing as the two birds flew off with the orb in hand, ready to bring it back to the client.
