Basic AU settings!
The Basic Overview:
Essentially, despite looking otherwise all of my kals are connected together in some way or form, even if it doesn’t look like it! While not everybody knows each other within them, all of their actions have a impact on the universe and world at large as each of them are important on each side whether they know it or not! Currently, the AU has been split in two for the following;
Twilight City - 20 minutes into the future with space travel about a small town with weird stuff happening in it. While centered on the small town for the most part, a lot of the world is post apocalyptic and kalons have outlived humans. Also space Kalon colonies exists because of the whole apocalypse thing. In the town, angels and demons are regular visitors and crypids show up for lunch in town. This is basically Splatoon’s world except more subdued and there’s like monsters that vibe in town. Magic exists but it’s extremely rare in the world, but for whatever reason it’s slightly more common in the particular town most of the story takes place. Essentially a Modern-Futuristic world with paranormal and fantastical elements, as well as space travel and post apocalyptic elements. Has a few hidden gateways to the other side of the AU, listed down below.
Hidden Kingdoms - Only accessible by random portals that open up randomly and close randomly to the outside world, it is a separate dimension that is mainly fantastical in nature, however a few countries are at steampunk level technology. Almost every country is ruled by a monarch barring a couple, and it is estimated to be around Medival-Renaissance period. Magic is abundant here, with many powerful mages around. Fairytale like, most of its stories are quite sad as the region is slowly falling apart as countries constantly go to war with eachother. Monsters are also quite common as well in comparison to the town. In some countries, some technologies exceed the outside world but however they tend to be used for mass destruction.
Both of these can be further broken down into individual stories! This is a general overview for now!
