Kalon AU Information!

Around the time when Kalons first rose to power, a eccentric lord sought the construction of a fantasy dimension for his daughter using the technology that humans had left behind as he’d found himself enamored with the medieval and steampunk architecture of humanity past. With the machines they had, they created an entire world to be a safe place from the bustle of technology. In the city it was made (currently now the Twilight City), many of its residents sought to go there as it was wonderful and free of worry just like a fairytale land. Many of them felt free in the dimension, often turning a temporary stay into a permanent stay. As time went on and centuries passed the kalons inhabiting the dimension forgot about the outside world, and the technology regressed to medieval era technology as the dimension closed off from the outside world. Within a hundred years, it was something straight out of a storybook with many kingdoms and its armies as well as mythical creatures.

The dimension spans across the entire earth, but it is only truly accessible by random chance most of the time. Travelers who accidentally stumble into it remain trapped in the world and vice versa. Very few kalons are able to travel back and forth from the modern world to the fantastical land. Even to this day, the dimension remains fantastical however war is constant and inevitable.
